He's definitely a bitch-and-a-half to beat, but I promise you it's doable (I beat him on pro difficulty). And I can't tell you how fucking satisfying it is to KO that bastard!
Land 75/75? Ok I've done that so now what??
Survive 'til the end of round 5, then protect your cut (it'll come in round 5) for two rounds, THEN you can murder rape him in the 7th.
And it is satisfying! I screamed at him as I KO'd him and then did a happy dance when they announced me the winner.
I beat him, got a ko in round 9. I did the same but my right index finger is hurting
hardest part to me was the 2 rounds that you're cut, i'd basically just circle the guy and double jab him from a distance, then counter and run, raising my guard whenever he lunged with the hook, hard as hell but not impossible lol
I beat it the first time on Pro but was knocked down 3 times. When your trainer says stay away from him...stay the fuck away, dont even throw punches just run. Same as when your cut, just run and dont throw. When you gotta do the combos to the body, just get in and out quick. Dont stay in the firing zone too long, even if you only get two punches just get out with your guard up and go back in there. Its pretty simple, just dont try and beat him before the 8th round. I knocked him out in the 9th.
Thing that pissed me off was losing to "big baby"...that was bullshit but it was fun being frost and flogging the fuck out of him though. Frost is like Ivan Drago i reckon.
Once you realise you have no chance of beating him until at least rounds 7/8 you'll be fine. I beat him on pro after a few attempts.
You just need to survive all the rounds leading up till that, then the fight is yours for the taking.
Finally beat him after a lot of frustration. Well pleased with myself afterwards!
Thank god the game autosaves after each couple of rounds as I wouldn't have fancied restarting from teh beginning each time.

Landing the 75 body shots in 3 rounds was the WORST for me. I finally realized the trick was to jab, then left hook to the body and get out. Or sraright right, then right hook to the body and get out.
You cannot trade with that bastard until the end when he is finally worn down.
Anybody notice that the fighter ratings had David Haye ranked higher than a prime George Foreman ?

Ive just won my first belt in the career mode. If you play it on a decent difficulty (anything from pro up) it is very hard and everything becomes tactical, even picking your fights is tough to avoid a mismatch and a brutal loss.
It's the first fight night game where I've not stormed to the top, unbeaten with all KO wins.
I'm pernell and iv won 3 belts and moved up in weight and won another 3 and 78 fights all ko on pro. Gotta watch out for the counterpunchers.
See I don't like to win all my fights by KO. Seems unrealistic to me. Early on I will carry a few guys just to go the distance on my record. But thats me.
It's not that hard just be totally defensive early on, just throw one punch at a time and be totally defensive moving around the ring, basically fight like Zahir Raheem LOL.
Then for the body shots try and sneak a few in here and there, and try some counter shots to the body. It wasn't that hard i got 75 way before when i was intended too.
The cut section is the same as the 1st part, again one punch at a time moving around the ring being defensive.
Then for the last section when you must KO him, still fight smart but get them combinations going. And try to land as many counter punches as you can, and try to land them big power punches when you can.
am on champion mode and ready to throw towel in with the motherfucker

used buttons instead of stick to get past body shot rounds and was easy
did the next two stages at first attempt - kayoed him about 30 secs into 8th round (although on my record it says I did him at 0.07 of Rd 8 ?!?!?)
