i saw a ref once warn a boxer for lowering his head to about belly-button height on the other fighter. "pick your head up" he cried. "2nd warning". wtf??? I guess Marciano would have been DQ'ed every frikkin fight, if that merits a warning. And when he did it a 3rd time, his opponent put him in a headlock, and hit him several times with his other hand whilst holding him fast in a headlock, and the ref didnt say PISS about that. wtf??? THEN, THE ICING ON THE FRIKKING GINGER-CAKE WAS THIS: THE REF TOOK A POINT FROM THE FIGHTER WHO WAS HEADLOCKED AND HIT, saying "Keep your head up. If you do it again, you know what time it is!". tell me, is headlocking and hitting OK, but lowering the head is illegal??? wtf

The Hatton Mayweather fight will always stick with me for his bias towards Floyd in that fight. Ruined my enjoyment of what should have been a far better scrap than it turned out to be.

I havent mate, carnt say i can recall any of the bouts he's reff'ed. Unfortunately when on the works PC, work dont allow access to YouTube, so cannot pass comment on the clips you've put up

You want bad ........:rules: Ever see a ref AND his corner man allowed to hold a KO'd fighter up during a round and allow him to recover ??? Oh and an early bell, forgot about that......the fix was in for Champion.
Watch the whole fight, it gets worse. Isidro rodriquez...he was banned for life.

didnt he end a round a minute early when the german was hurt?

I think he was fighting a German in Spain.
He got a couple of points taken off for hitting the guy in the face. Think he knocked the guy down and it was given as a slip, and then when the German fellow was badly hurt the bell suddenly went to end the round with about 1.20 still to go. Shocking stuff.

Wow dude, this is horrible! Not just the blatant fixing but the total disregard for both of the fighters wellbeing! and as for Coggi's corner, sending him back in when he was clearly not there at all...doing that to your own fighter is despicable.
And to top it off Gonzalez's corner had to step into the ring to stop their then very unaware fighter getting pummelled! Was not nice to watch in parts!
After seeing that I cant complain about Joe Cortez as much!

agree, only thing is that well it's more a case of lack of professionalism on Cole's part
