So? Is it?!!
Is it happening or what?!

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
it looks like it dude

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
Even though I'd have Wlad to beat Haye, I reckon he is going to be 'injured' so Vitali fights Haye in July.

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
... or what. Haye is a joke. And if the fight by some strange miracle does happen haye will get curb stomped. The klits beat down people they have no problems with. They actually hate this guy. It won't be pretty. The real question is how many people he and booth will be able to convince he has a chance. In a secret ballot, haye's own family would pick either klitch to win. And no i'm not actually a fan of the klitch's although i've been somewhat defending them lately. They win, draw like crazy at home and i respect that.

The guy who lost his tv deal.
In other words, not the guy who can't decide whether he or his brother should take the fight.

The two of them could step in the ring and Haye would spark them both with the same punch. Fact.

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
I will not believe it until the bell rings.

the thread has progressed from the original question
we are now on haye would KO 2 klits with one punch
anything to add?

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
Haye has now started the verbal battle with Wlad, claiming he has the "heart of a hyena"
Also claims he picks on smaller men ( bloody hard not to considering the f'kin size of him :D ), and opponents who are "old, dead meat" !
Haye - Wlad has no heart | Sky Sports | Boxing | News
Ya can always rely on Haye to build the fight with hype talk, lovin it :)

Nope nothing to add.

Well thankfully, there is no where Haye or Wlad can escape to, unless of course Solis kicks the shit outta Vitali, In which case both Haye & Wlad will make a case that they have a different score to settle with Solis.

This will definitely happen now. I heard the other day that both men are in line for a £20 million payday out of this fight. So in the longrun it has turned into an ideal situation for both men as they would not have made a fraction of that 2 years ago. Plus boxing and it's fans are getting to see probably the second most demanded fight available right now after Pac-Floyd. All we need now is for them to follow suit!!

It's gonna be in Germany. I think they've agreed to have it where it will make most money and with Wembley not available on the dates put forward, the German stadiums are the next biggest option and Wlad fills them against bums so a long awaited HW unification bout with Haye should be a record breaker at the box office in Germany I would think. Don't know about rematch clauses but Vitali is set to step in should Wlad's "injury" once again rule him out of a fight. Haye has made it clear though that they cannot change the opponent with short notice as his camp will be setup to deal with Wlad and not Vitali so if the fighter is to be changed they must give plenty of notice which to me is fair enough!!

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
So has Wlad signed yet? Or is he waiting for big brother to fill in and fight Haye instead?

I read the Klitschko camp say that its a one fight deal, no rematch clauses, but there is an understanding that if Haye wins he'll fight Vitali

So what happens if Wlad's 'injury' flares up once Haye's camp has started? Wlad's 'injury' is surely most likely to flare up during camp (which i imagine will run at the same time as Haye's). So in effect, it's all a bit pointless having that clause in the contract. ;D

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
Haye should be out here in Cyprus in a few months running up the Troodos Mountains and doing his training.
I'm def gonna get tickets for this one.
His mindgames are spot on too....Wlad and Vitali do well when they're in control of their opponent, picking them off and boring the crowd silly.
Wlads gonna come out mad as fuck and get into a fight which has only one winner.
Haye will stop him 100%.
Mark my words ;)

Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
all this great for heavyweight boxing if haye wins is of course a load of old pony
haye plans to retire in october anyway, we`ll be right back to square one all over again
-
Re: Haye v Klitschko: Is it happening or what?!
It is happening now cause they cannot hype and promote it further to a higher financial level. Haye has his limitations but he has grown to make Wladimir be aware of his punch power even at HW so it will probably be a boring Wladimir performance all the way down to the end stretch with consistency scored by the ucrainian and wild spurts of energy performed by the english guy. If Haye doesn't get caught in one of those late hammering attacks of Wladimir in the late part of the fight ( like against Chagaev), then it will most probably go to the cards with Wladimir taking the decision. hardly can Haye expose Wladimir's chin now cause Klitschko is very aware of Haye's power by now.

at least if haye wins something different will have happened
im bored of watching heavyweight title fights that are total one sided dominated by the jab
if he retires in october having beaten both klits then there might be a few decenmt fights that follow in the race to pick up the belts

...Or the Klits could just pick up the belts by dominating the same average bunch of fighters and we'd be right back where we are now. If Haye was going to fight on I'd buy this whole "It'll be good if he wins" talk. But if he were to win, unify and then retire, it would just throw the division into a bit of a mess and the most likely scenario would be Vitali retiring and Wlad picking up all the belts again. Really I don't think either fighter winning would be "better" for boxing than if the other were to win, I just want to see an entertaining fight with a clear, undisputed winner at the end. No, controversy, just at the end of the fight we have a winner that everyone can be sure was the better fighter.

maybe it would just revert back to wlad jabbing his way to the top again
it could also tho inspire some ambition in fighters
you are right tho you could argue all day whether or not one winning would be better for boxing or not, and like you im not arsed about that, i just wanna see a good fight that i will remember
