Why is it every time a good fighter gets beat that fighter is suddenly washed up? Is possibly that the other fighter that won is just better?
Cotto is not washed up, Margarito is getting knocked out.
It isn't just one defeat though, it is two hellacious beatdowns. And the Clottey fight was far tougher than I had anticipated. Foreman can't punch and even with a dodgy knee Cotto took an awful long time to get him out of there.Quote:

To be honest i just really don't know. It's easy to take ricardo as a loudmouth joke but dude has had some impressive moments while smoking like two hundred packs a day and semi training. I'm being kinda a hypocryte here cause i've constantly picked cotta , and just simply by adjusting and waiting for mayorga to tire and then just pop ko his ass. But i dunno. Money is king above all. People have shot people for less than twenty bucks , so maybe mayorga is knowing this is his last shot or close to it and is trying to cash in for himself and his family. I mean he does look in pretty good shape. But cotto is just plain refusing to pay attention to any of his garbage and seems so focused that he could beat just about anyone. Or at least mayorga ( i think pac would beat his ass again in any condition) but i'm kinda having second doubts. Not that mayorga will win....but maybe it will be tougher than i thought.
Well that's all the confirmation I need...I'm sticking my house on Cotto to win comfortably. ;D
