If anyone ever wondered when I would ever cheer for Floyd Mayweather Jr., well....now's the time. I hate that he's not fighting Pacquiao obviously, but Spadafora ....I just hate that bastard. The sooner "Spaddy" gets his ass whupped the better!
Warm up fight for Floyd until he takes Pacman in the fall. Spadafora is a southpaw by the way.;)

LOL laughable fight this is mostly due to Paul Spadafora, whooping Floyd Mayweather Jr in sparring when he was out of shape years ago. This would be one of the biggest joke fights in recent times.
Paul Spadafora isn't a top fighter anymore, this fight should of happened when both fighters were at Lightweight.
Paul Spadafora was talented in his day but his chin wasn't great, and he did have alot of trouble vs fighters like Dorin, Sosa.
But this would of been interesting about a decade ago, but since that Paul Spadafora went to prison and hasn't fought at top level since 2003.
Seriously does Floyd Mayweather Jr need another tune up ? either fight often or just retire, don't waste the fans time but fighting once a year, and picking on fighters like this. When your supposed to be one of the top 2 P4P fighters.

The very idea of this fight is a total joke, and i'm even gonna stick my neck on the line and say its even more of a joke than the idea a while back that Floyd was lining up Matthew Hatton for a fight.

I remember being impressed with Leonard Dorin, he had some decent wins against Emanuel Augustus, Gairy St Clair. Then the war with Raul Balbi and the robbery draw too Paul Spadafora.
He was really starting to make a name for himself, but the biggest mistake he ever made was moving up to fight Arturo Gatti. He was clearly too small and Arturo Gatti ruined him and he never comeback sadly.
This will be a walk in the park for Floyd. I hope it's a warm up for a Pac fight in the autumn. That would make it a great year for boxing.

I wouldnt be to bothered by this fight aslong as it was a warm up fight and he takes on Pac in his next fight. Otherwise this fight is a joke there is only one winner.

Spadafora beat up his girlfriend? I thought he shot her. And I didn't know he was out of prison.
It's not a fight that interests me in the slightest. And I am sick of all this 'warm up' fight nonsense. Either he is ready to fight or he isn't. If the sparring and experience is not enough to tune him for a meaningful fight then god help him.
