Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
well as disgusting as this is, is it any different than tyson saying he wants to eat children or tear hearts out? certainly this is an ugliness in the sport. i hope haye gets creamed, it'll be the first time i ever routed for any K brother.

Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE

it makes me laugh when boxing fans say this kind of talk is disgusting
why do you watch boxing?
you cant honestly tell me its just to see the skills
-
Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
Yea, he's only doing it to sell the fight, and fair play. Everything he say's about Wlad is true, Wlad will be doing a Montiel before the end of the 4th rd ;)

Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
ummm, excuse me, but I do NOT watch boxing to see a human being TWITCHING on the canvass, buddy. KNockouts are great, but twitching is a sign of possible injury, and I just dont get off on that, OK, erics44??? :lickish:

so you like to see someone knocked unconcious but you dont like to see them twitching? :D

Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
No. I do not like to see someone knocked unconscious. The definition of a knockout is not that the fighter has to be unconscious for it to be ruled a knockout. You are really grasping at straws here, and one of them may be your _______. :)
-
He's just talking shit again, don't see a great deal wrong with doing that. His talk over the last few years is what has helped this fight become so big, its built huge interest in it. As long as they both get in the ring and fight I don't really care
-
Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
Haye's words and actions will sell this fight I am sure of that.
It will get to Wlad to some extent too but it won't be enough. Haye will be going for it from first round. And lets not forget Wlad also sounds like he intends to come out all guns blazing too with his prediction that he will knock Haye out in the 12th round...goddamn that's ambition for you !
Further revelations to follow next week including rumours amongst Wlad's corner that he intends to beat Haye using a repeating '28 jabs then throw a right hook' technique he has been working on in training.
I can't see it but I hope Haye does it obviously.
Imagine then the money that will be at stake for a 'big brother' Vitali fight.

im not grasping at anything, you need to be real
when there is a KO generally one of the fighters is unable to continue yes?
so that is a super fit man in the top physical condition and in the prime of his life punched in the head so many times that he can no longer defend himself
you like that but you dont like twitching?
-
Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
That's correct. Twitching is clearly indicative of visible and verifiable physiological trauma and potential neurological damage, while being punched in the head until the ref deems it a knockout is less nauseating. Hey, you dont have to agree with it. You have the right to your own opinion. Nobody can take that away from you. I surely don't want to either.

naa, a one punch KO is most likely less damaging than a sustained beating
but either way you wouldnt love boxing if you didnt love the bruitality
watching a fight where there is little chance of a KO or there are no big hurtful punches going in is nowhere near as entertaining as watching people get battered and their face mangled and heads being rolled around
thats what i like about it and i hope the haye klit fight serves up some of the same, and if wlad ends up on the floor twitching all the better :)
-
Wow haye must think his power really is somethin special, which its not. Wlad may have been kod but he's never been unconscious or twitching on the floor. Haye is that bully in school that goes around talkin so much shit and then gets hiss butt whooped but fair play to him he's got himself a huge payday and fight, and really doubt haye lasts into the twelfth think he's going to have enough after six or seven rounds.
-
Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
erics44, yes I love the brutality which is hypocritical in a way, but the twitching really unnerves me. I can see Ingemaar Johanssen twitching after being KO'd by Floyd Patterson and it really sickens me, like its nerve damage or cerebral hemmhoraging or something gross.
I do hope its a good fight, it sure looks it wont go the distance. :)

Got to pull ya on this one bud, 23 KO's in 25 wins, and the your saying he doesnt have power  I find that hard to follow.
Any other fighter in any other weight division, and the the fighter has KO power, as it's Haye, this to you, is not the case then :-\

Yep thats bound to come next. KO'ing 3 of the 4 HW he's faced is not a bad start though. No-body has KO'ed the other, so not bad. Ya can only beat whats put in front of ya

Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
All the shit this guy talks seems so forced, it seems to me he has to talk as much shit as possible in order for him to believe in himself. When Tyson talked crap people thought he was crazy...I mean yes we all remember him saying he was going to eat Lennox Lewis' kids or whatever but Tyson also said he was going to "kiss Donovan Ruddock on his big brown lips" and some other really odd obscure things mainly because, well he was mentally unstable. The WBA title holder is just a loudmouthed attention whore...he'll get put in his place soon enough. He sure talks a lot of crap for someone that got dropped by Monte Barrett and rocked by John Ruiz...that wouldn't inspire too much confidence in me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOgr2dppDCY
:vd: Tyson at his best

Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
I'm gonna side with Haye on this one. C'mon dudes..... he's just doing his pre-fight trash talking. Surely we're not going to start micro-analyzing everything that is said before fights. Besides, even Haye himself knows he's not going to render Wlad "unconscious and twitching on the canvas". I'm GLAD he's doing some trash-talking. It's the first time in years I've looked forward to a HW fight that should NOT put me to sleep.
That is, of course.... if it happens, which is still not a certainty in my book.

Mate i can honestly say i think Haye will batter him.
I really do want to see the Klit have his face torn apart.
Don't like him.
Gwan Haye:)

hope you are right, really do but just can't see him getting past that jab !
-
Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
Just fight selling hype, we've heard it all before. Anyway, I like a good KO as much as anyone. I just don't think it is Haye that is going to deliver it.
-
Re: I can't wait to see him unconscious and twitching on the canvas.... HAYE
This coming from the bloke who said he was going to 'violently knock out' Audley Harrison and then ensure he leaves the arena in an ambulance.
It didn't happen.

Lyle y do u keep saying that Haye got dropped by barrett and rocked by ruiz??,he never!,he slipped when in with barrett and he nvr got hurt at all against ruiz,ur lying 2 urself 2 make urself feel better i think

Thing about Wladimir is he has a good jab but he also can be tagged with one. In the Brewster fight I was watching, first one, Brewster yes took a beating, but when he decided to be active or throw punches, it would be a snapping jab, and whenever it landed on the inside of Wladimer's jab his head would snap back. Call me crazy but I think the best way Haye can deal with Wladimer's jab is by getting his off first, snapping Wladimir's head back with a jab to set everything else up. People that fight the Klits usually go in with wide shots and no one aside from Brewster really tried to jab with Wladimir on the inside and with the way Wladimer holds his hands a counter jab would almost always land on him because he wouldn't bring his hand back in time. It was a point made in the Malignaggi vs Khan fight when talking about both their jabs. I think if Haye can catch Wladimir consistently with his own jab the fight may go more in his favor than his usual style of staying on the outside and waiting to leap in with his counter right. He has an underrated jab, he should use it.

Oh he "slipped" did he? Because I was under the impression that although it was ruled a slip by the ref a PUNCH however light it may have been put the WBA title holder on his backside. He WAS caught off balance and not hurt, but yes that is a very bad thing given the level of competition in that fight.
Would it make you feel better if I said he was hurt and knocked down by Jean Marc Mormeck???

Spot on analysis that mate, could not of put it better myself
Haye does have the speed and agility that no other opponent of Wlads has had in the past 7yrs. Wlad will get a suprise when he realises how much quicker Haye is than even he thought.

Who will be more shocked a guy that just made his 9th title defense or a guy that just got done fighting Audley Harrison

ooo, thats easy that one mate,
Wlad is the answer ;)
Doesnt really matter how many defences ya make when it's against tomato cans. Problem Wlad has, is this will be his last defence before losing the belts :)

Monte Barrett, Nicolay Valuev, John Ruiz, Audley Harrison...and you're calling Wlad's list of opponents "tomato cans"...you must be shrooming

:wackomz4:
Maybe i am, I wasnt calling Haye's opponents into account. The opponent lists are as bad as each other. At least Haye stepped up to plate and fought Valuev, Wlad bottled it didnt he?
-
I didn't mean to imply haye doesn't have power, he does but its not special power. Its not like he been blastin fools out in one round, ten rounds to beat ruiz, five to ko barret, distance with valuev in less impressive fashion than others have done it. I just don't understand what the hell haye's done at heavy that's so impressive...I remember a few years back people were hyping brock up similary, he was kod in 7, I would be imensely shocked if wladimir lost. Wlad byy ko in six or seven don't think steward will allow him to jab haye to oblivion over twelve and will urge him for the ko after softening him up a bit.

Explinations
Barrett - He needed rounds at heavyweight
Valuev - he broke his hand
Ruiz - He wanted to put on a show
....I don't think an explination for Audley lasting 3 has been brought up....OH that's right, he told everyone to bet on that round ;)
To be honest I saw Brock as more of a threat, he had underrated power, and he was a better all around boxer that used technical skill to set up his attack. He caused Wlad some trouble too, may be the last fighter to win a round vs Wlad.

Mate thats a perfect explantion of the results. For a hater ya certainly understand Haye's results ;)
He reminds of Holyfields early day's in the HW division after moving from Cruiserweight. All will change, and peoples perspective's will change after the fight, I have no doubt about that
