Nope, don't reckon at all. I don't think Ward has the KO power to be doing that. Ward probably UD's Froch all day long with Froch's only chance coming via a KO, for me anyways.
I love froch but i think ward is all wrong for him. I dont think ward will stop him but i see a close but clear ud for ward.Quote:

Ward would deservedly go into the fight the betting favourite but he struggled enough against the tough, awkward Sakio Bika to suggest that he won't have it all his own way against Froch.
So far nobody has had an easy night against Carl Froch, and as you may have noticed his recent opposition hasn't been at all bad. Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler and Abraham is a serious resume to have as your recent fights and he hasn't suffered a clear loss against any of them, (yes I know he didn't clearly win two and was behind against Taylor as well).
He's a tough man to beat that's for sure and I don't see Ward's rough tactics working on him the same way they did to Kessler.
Froch will hold his own in the dirty boxing game and if Ward headbutts he can expect to be hit low, on the break and pulled around a bit I imagine.
I think it's an intriguing fight and I don't count Froch out at all.
That said Ward is a great fighter in the making imo.

Do not expect Ward to engage Froch as he did against Kessler or Green.He will sit back pot shot the hell out of Froch and when Froch pressures Ward to the ropes with some dirty tactics because he is pissed off of being picked apart. Ward will look to the ref and complain.The ref will agree with Ward and deduct points from Froch almost flirting with a D.Q.and get back to being picked apart. I have commentated on the entire fight no need to watch.;)
I'd say this one won't go down as one of boxing's elegant displays. I do think Ward will pull it off, but Froch will make it interesting, no doubt.
I could see Ward dropping Froch with a counter-punch, but I don't think he'll be able to stop him. He might outbox him and headbutt his way to a victory though. Personally, I hope Froch knocks him out.
No KO for Ward, and probably not a decision win either. This would likely be a close hard to score fight that could go either way, if the fight takes place in California, Ward wins, in the UK, Froch wins.Quote:

No way, Ward doesn't have the power to KO Froch. I think he'd take a UD, a fairly close but clear one, but I don't think he stops him at all. I'd love for Froch to beat him though and I wouldn't rule him out completely

Would love to see Froch beat Ward. Froch beat Abraham so easily because Arthur can't counterpunch.
Froch is most susceptible when he faces a good counter puncher. I follow boxing closely but one fighter I know little about is Ward.
Froch is supremely confident and is mentally as good as any fighter today.
If it turns ugly then Froch's hands will go up but if Ward sticks and moves without giving Froch a chance to get involved then he gets the decision with a minimum amount of ugliness.

I believe it's very possible that Froch will win this fight, it will likely come down to what the judges decide in Vegas. To me, it's not realistic or believable at all to assume that Ward will win one-sided decision or dominate Froch, much less knock him out.
ward has no real power. The only way he scores a knockout is by headbutt.;D
