Bradley-Khan announcement could come soon | RingTV
Both sides have agreed to a deal, an announcement is expected within 10 days.
Well as some people on this board has said, it looks like Khan is cherry picking again. Yeah he's cherry picking the no. 1 jr. welterweight in the world for the lineal title.
Khan by TKO. Bradley's aggression and lack of defense is going to work against him here. Khan is too fast and too accurate.
I have Khan by UD with Bradley being knock down at least once. Bradley doesn't have the power to stop Khan and Khan just has better boxing skills, speed, movement, and physical advantages in height and reach.
I'll go with Bradley in this one, I believe his power is underrated, and that he'll be a able to hurt Khan. (or at least keep him honest). I see Bradley either winning a decision or getting screwed on the score cards.
Both are headbutt freaks il go with Khan this time! ;D
seriously for me Bradley will own this one by decision if he goes twelve.
I'm rooting for Khan, as I hate Bradley's style.
I believe Bradley is under rated and unappreciated, he is the new Hagler. He has beaten better fighters who have various styles and that means Bradley is primed and ready for Khan and will win a decision.
More importantly - does anybody think this will be a great or even good fight? Bradley-Alexander was looking like a great matchup and stunk. Khan's fight with Maidana was great but Bradley won't fight anywhere near that level of reckless abandon. Hope I'm wrong but this might be a stinker as well, especially if Khan tastes some of those headbutts early and just sticks to figting on the outside.
Khan may be too big for Bradley, but I like Bradley's will to win. That is, Bradley will take Khan out to sea and I'm not sure Khan will be able to swim. What if Khan suffers a frustrating cut or a closed eye and he still has to deal with Bradley's relentlessness? I have my doubts about whether Khan can handle it. Bradley isn't a big puncher, but you don't need to be a big puncher to test Khan's chin. You just have to be able to touch it a few times. Bradley will do that. I like Bradley late TKO.
More and more I have to go with Bradley by decision. I think he's gritty enough inside to keep Khan reacting and negate his reach and power on the end. Bradley's self confidence is unmatched today and with busy hands and NOT going right hand happy and stick with much improved boxing he's too much of a package for Khan. Khan should totally forget Tim has a head...body-body-body all night long.

I am going for Bradley i think he is the better fighter then Khan.
I've got Bradley UD. He won't allow Khan to stay on the outside and rack up the points, he'll be on him constantly. He's skilled enough to get inside and work Khan over.
Bradley. Because I hate Khan & Bradley is better looking.

I think it's really a case of Amir by decision if he boxes a perfect fight and keeps his chin safe, or else Bradley by stoppage in the late rounds.
At this point I'm leaning more towards Bradley stopping him.
I think it will be a great fight though. Nothing like Bradley Alexander. Amir is one of the most exciting fighters around and has a ton of heart. He'll take the fight to Bradley and either box his head off with his speed or else get brutally beaten down in a fight that will have Miles and Missy doing cartwheels.
I know Mcloskey was awkward but khan did not look like an elite fighter in there last week.
I'm picking Bradley, Khan has improved since getting spanked around like a stepkid by prescott but with the exception of maidana he has been matched cleverly and fair dos. A lot of refs would have stopped that fight in maidanas favour - that cannot be disputed he was lucky to survive eben though he did show some big 'nads.
Khan needs to stop throwing his arms in the air and celebrating everytime he takes a punch and doesn't go down it drives me nuts and he looks happy to still be standing.
Khan has blinding speed but does not hit that hard either and defence can be suspect that showed against Mcloskey.
Unless Khan gets a TKO as a result of head clashes etc i think Bradley will show himself to be the superior fighter and take the win. Just havent made my mind up yet as to how he'll do it.
Khan will win. Maidana couldn't ko him or stop him or drop him, and I seriously doubt Bradley has the power of a Maidana. Khan just needs to box outside and can take the UD.
Maidana let himself down big time not being able to stop khan when he was all over the shop.
The difference is skills is what won the fight for khan had he have been in trouble early he might not have survived his conditioning must have been top notch. He did good to build up that early lead.
Skillwise bradley will not be lacking against khan and he wont go down early from a body shot like maidana did.
Yeah he does. Not like he needs all that much. Either way Bradley power is some what underrated. He ain't no monster puncher. But he can hurt his opponent. I don't see Con's chin being better than Lamont Peterson or Carlos Abregu. Bradley was able to drop Peterson and hurt Abregu more than once.Quote:

Bradley has been knocked down but got up and won, he has fought body punchers, southpaws, undefeated fighters, punchers, you name it. Bradley is a seasoned boxer and I think he will win, if Khan beats him then you have to respect Khan for fighting and beating the best.Quote:

Good news. Would love to see the winner fight Judah after this one too. If it is Khan then he can move upto 147 after those providing he wins them both. I think Judah is a tougher fight for Khan than Bradley is though. Bradley will take a lot of punishment off Khan I think.
Disagree, Judah's last fight was not that impressive, other than the knock down he was boxing ineffectively against a fighter than had not fought for over a year. Bradley is stronger competition.Quote:

All I know is that Bradley has made some fights really ugly and Kahn had better be ready to use the whole ring because even ten seconds in a clinch could be exasperating with Bradley and I don't like his style but I think he'll win with an ugly TKO or a very ugly decision which would have a very ugly person turning his head away in disgust. Khan should train for endurance and dance to win. He's got the tools and he would be a fool to fight Bradley's fight.

Holt had Bradley. But Bradley got up and had the will to win. But how good is his chin? We all know about Khan's chin. I want to pick Bradley just to see him move up for future high profile fights. But Khan speed will dominate Bradley's straight forward fighting style.
I'm telling you I really feel that this will come down to Khan's height and reach versus Bradley's tenacity.
We've seen Khan get wide and give his up but I can't recall ever seeing Bradley giving up his mental focus. It'll def take more then effective reach to cause Bradley to lose workrate and tame his tenacity.Quote:

Khan has got some serious character flaws... He says the right things, he can even seem sincere... but next thing you know, booboo galore, scandal, he just made a fool of himself... and on a few, it'll even be in the news.
It could be the juvenile in him, if so understandable, people are able to relate to that, growing pains... After all he is a star, a celebrity. It is a good thing his gleam is always "on", he gets to benefit from it for a good share of the action, frontline, in the sport of boxing. Simply, he is "in".
He makes enough of these right moves; his future indeed looks very bright. One thing that cannot be denied of Amir... big time in skill, a work rate next to none, and an experienced team on the corners behind him in his fights.
All those three working without a glitch, Bradley has nothing to clearly beat Amir.
The "inadvertent" head butt and grabbing if allowed can be his strongest suit. This complements Timothy's "real" skills which are; world class hand speed, better than decent power, and A-1 conditioning.
I don't know about his chin though, but surely it is better than Amir's.
Bradley will have a size disadvantage that will be a problem all "fight" long.
This maybe what Khan can capitalize on... and, if he controls the distance, hide his chin, his combination of speed and power can deliver a stoppage with the right plan, or a win with UD. That is not hard to imagine.
