I'm curious about how everyone on the Saddoboxing forum thinks this fight will turn out. :cool:
Since Wlad has been known to have a questionable chin and/or stamina issues in the past, i'll give Haye a puncher's chance, but not much of one. I see Wlad making a statement and dominating Haye with his left jab and pounding him with straight right hands, until about the 7th round when either the ref stops it or Haye's corner throws in the towel.
Yes, Wladimir is known for having a questionable chin and combined with Haye's punching power, this is what makes the fight BIG and EXCITING at least for the first 4-5 rounds. Since Haye is not known for a granite chin either, I see his only chances are taking away Wlad's jab with good defense, footwork and speed at least for the first 3-4 rounds so Wladimir gets angry and impatient and wants to EXCHANGE early. I mean that's the best chance for Haye, avoid his jab, time his power shots, counter them with his own bombs, and finish the job early. How much of a chance is that in percentage? 30 at MOST. I mean Klitschko is the favorite to win here, but everything unexpected can happen in the first few rounds if the younger, faster, power punching boxer lands on Champs questionable chin. ;)
Haye will be kept at bay by a piston like jab with the reach of a sniper riffle and will slowly get mashed till Haye crashes on the Canvas around the 5th round. All other alternativse are only fantasy and making believe, fact.
The idea that Wlad is the same guy he was 7-8 years ago with the same vulerabilities is simply wrong.
This fight will last as long as Haye decides not to engage. Whenever he does? That jab will hurt him. From there it's a short distance to the end.
Wlad hurts him early and then proceeds to carry him rounds to humiliate him and Wlad ends the fight in 8 by KO.
1st right cross that lands will put the WBA title holder on his ass and let him know just how far up creek he is.
Getting in the ring with Wlad? That's like swimming with Jaws! KO victim #50 coming up!!!
Either Haye knocks him out Wlad in the first four/five rounds or it's going to be a very long and painful night for David. I wouldn't want to put money on this fight, put it that way. Still fancy Wladimir to win by late stoppage.

I want Haye to win, but Wladimir is just too precise & I see him stopping him after a beating in 10.

Wlad by KO/TKO. Haye has the power to take Wlad out, I just think he'll struggle to get past the jab, he's very open to straight right hands, and I think Wlad will land cleaner punches more regularly than Haye will. I don't think it'll go past 5. Haye can win though, I just don't think he will
David Haye will be weary of the jab which Wlad works off almost exclusively so both will be tentative. Wlad should look to drive Haye back in a straight line so that he can anticipate when exactly when Haye will move laterally (which he never punchers out from) so once moving (hopefully right), Wlad can nail him with a left hook.
What I'm saying is; if it ends early, it'll be with a left hook.

On the espn.co.uk website they have the WBA title holder whining about Wladimir's "demands" for the fight which were just so difficult that the WBA title holder describes his effort as "beinding over backwards to get the fight signed"
Wlad wanted: his choice of doctor (for his corner), to come to the ring second, his choice of gloves, and apparently the choice of referees but I highly doubt that. The WBA title holder also said the fight happening in Germany was a big deal but hell #1 He once had the chance to deliver Stamford Bridge and pulled out and #2 Wlad is the bigger draw at the gate as the record shows. So when it comes down to brass tacks basically Wlad wanted respect (ie being THE heavyweight champ coming to the ring second) and his choice of gloves...oh and a doctor of his choice in his corner....what was the big issue again Mr. "All I need is a ref that can count to 10"? :vd:

I think it will be a few rounds of non action early on. The pedestrian Wlad follows the speedy Haye around the ring trying to land the jab, but to no avail and once frustrated - try's something more aggresive and gets caught. Once caught Haye won't let him off the hook.

David Haye round 3-4 KO. It will start off very negative at first with both men very wary of the others power. At which point Haye will batter the back of Wlads head and probably lose a point for doing so, problem is it will hurt Wlad and put him off using his pussy grabbing tactics again and leave him in 2 minds as to whether he should grab again the next time he slips the jab. This will leave huge opportunities for the much faster, more agile and far less robotic Haye to land his bombs on Wlad and he will be on his backside in the 3rd. IF he has the balls to get up he may make it to the next round but it will be over soon after with Haye having his hand raised as new unified champ.
After the fight you people will be asking me for my crystal ball ;D

haye has a better chance in this one than he does with the older Klitschko. as stated in every post ive read its all about getting past Wlads jab. If Haye can do this he has a genuine chance. However as much as I hope Im wrong I dont think that will happen. I think Haye could walk onto something around mid rounds
I think Haye has the speed to get to Wlad ala Sanders but he's in a bit of a pickle. A part of me thinks he should rush at Wlad right out the gate but another part thinks he should look for the opening for about 30 seconds and then start to make his move. Theirs a fine line here as he cant allow Wlad to get settled into his robotic jab, jab, grab fest. One of the most useful things Steward ever taught Wlad was how to clinch.
Haye is way to hittable to beat Kiltchko, it'll be a nightmare for him, if Kitchkos head is screwed on nice and tight that night, Haye doesn't stand a chance, and if somehow he wins, hell have to face vitali, which just sucks for him. Haye is not great on getting to the inside as it is, he will have a hard time doing it against Wlad.

I have only seen two of Haye's fights and I had to ask about his history once before. I'm not too solid on who will win honestly but if Klitschko jabs and fights tall, he's either in for a frustrating night along with the Russian's hit and hold tactics or he learns how to hold his guard up. He did not impress me with the giant although his decision was unanimous, he was sloppy. Clean up your act this time Dave!

I wonder what the betting odds are starting to look like for this fight, chances are Haye is a big underdog, and if he were to win, the payoff would be huge.
I am also one of the ones that think Wlad will win but hope Haye pulls it off.
I say Wlad by ko or ud. But certainly David Haye has more than a puncher's chance, if he out-speed Wlad by a good margin and I can see him winning.
