Arum : "Pacquio Will Never Face A Golden Boy Fighter!"
Arum : "Pacquio Will Never Face A Golden Boy Fighter!"
Looks like Manny couldn't even handle simple questions for example...."Will You Take The Drug Test?" he sounded like a mentally disabled buffoon when studdering and coming up with ridiculous reasons not to. You all have seen the videos. Looks like Arum has made it easy on everyone and decided to safeguard Pac even more. Can't weight for the next Catch weight fight or when Pac juices up to 160

Forget Arum, Pac Man does not avoid fighters and does not need catch weights.

I said he does not need to have catchweights he would have beaten Cotto, ODH, Marg anyway.

A handful. Now answer me this? How many fighters in history have fought top ranked guys across five of the original divisions and ten of today's?
What is more impressive? Fighting in one's tenth division against ranked guys at catchweights? Or simply fighting in only five, or six, or seven divisions in the first place?
Re: Arum : "Pacquio Will Never Face A Golden Boy Fighter!"
nice try at a switch but that's not the title of thread ;)
Re: Arum : "Pacquio Will Never Face A Golden Boy Fighter!"
arum is good and bad for boxing, more emphasis on bad.

A handful. Now answer me this? How many fighters in history have fought top ranked guys across five of the original divisions and ten of today's?

Are you impressed with him fighting Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, and Margo? Were these even a contest?
Are you impressed with him fighting Shane? Will it impress you if he wins? Cause I find nothing impressive about Shane Mosley and if Pac wins.
And I was asking because I respect your opinion and enjoyed reading your posts. So I'm truely curious as to the above questions.

Almost everybody thought Oscar would beat Pac, ODH was RIPPED for taking a gimme fight against a much smaller opponent. Even after that fight a great many people picked Hatton to beat him. It wasn't until after the Cotto fight that Pacquiao suddenly became invincible in the eyes of most boxing fans. Your post smacks of revisionist history, at best.

I was not a member of this board at the time but please. Oscar was a wilted prune on a sun dried deck. Had not made 147 in close to ten years, weighs in at 145 and then gains two pounds by the night of the fight. Seriously?

Almost everyone thought that Oscar was going to murder Pacquiao. Most people (though not myself) were impressed with his performance against Forbes and he was heavily criticized for fighting Pacquiao.

I don't know who everyone is. They do not include me.

Before Pacquiao fought dela Hoya, he NEVER fought at 147 nor at 140. And several posters here did not even find him impressive at 135 since he fought the weakest champ in David Diaz. So a wilted prune fought an overbloated water baloon.
Re: Arum : "Pacquio Will Never Face A Golden Boy Fighter!"
He beats up the Golden Boy, himself, forcing him to retire.
Which Golden Boy Fighter is Pacquiao supposed to face?
Pauli Malignaggi: He got beaten up by Amir Khan.
Victor Ortiz: That'd be a good fight. Ortiz would get knocked out.
Ricky Hatton: He already got knocked out.
Amir Khan: Both are managed by Freddy Roach and spar together.
Marcos Maidana: Already lost to Amir Khan.
Sergio Mora: Fought to a draw with Shane Moseley who ran away from Pacquiao.
