i'd love the Zab of old to turn up and turn Khan over. Not sure that will happen though.
This a good positive decision by both boxers...I don't like Khan but I do respect him has a boxer who dosn't shy away from a contest like this...WELL DONE!!!
Job Biscuit (thank you!! thank you!!!.....for all the walls sausages!!!...thank you mummy bear.....)!!!
eh eh!!!
Zab is a name and has a strap but in reality he is way past his best and has beat no one for a very long time look at his recent resume, not good really and he got beat by Matthysee imo. I see Khan being to fresh too good late tko or wide points win.

I agree. If that fight was anywhere other than New Jersey, Zab would've lost that decision. Khan tko win 10 but Zab will put up a good fight for the first four/five rounds.
War Zab Judah!
However, I see Khan approaching the fight similar to the way he fought Malinaggi; slowly wearing down and pressuring, closing out all of Judah's options and then going in for the kill in the late rounds. I admire Judah and will be rooting for him through and through, but I don't see a way for him to counter that strategy or outbox Khan with his current speed, age, and condition right now.
Judah's bread and butter will defbe the straight left hand to right hook.
Man, Summer is lookin' real good. :P

This fight is way more interesting then I originally thought. Even a past it Judah is pretty close to Khan in speed. In addition Khan has never fought a southpaw in the pros to my knowledge and he's about to fight a very naturally gifted one with a dynamite straight left hand. Other variables may include the venue and the fans. Could favour either I suppose. Again this is a way better fight to me after thinking about it a little longer. One last thing is theirs no question in my mind that Zab is more mature now upstairs and he has Sweet Pea in his corner. That to could play huge in this fight.
I think I'm going to ride with Zab and take the upset of the year.
I can actually see zab getting DQ'ed in this. He's likely to do something nutty to avoid getting Ko'ed.
Zab is one of those pugs who keeps turning up like a bad penny. The only thing good about a fight with Zab Judah in it these days is there's a good chance you get to see him KTFO. Anyway, the fight should be entertaining, wouldn't be hilarious if Zab caught lightening in a bottle, and put Khantucky Fried's lights out.. ;D
Damned good fight I think. Excellent matchmaking. Kahn's going to have to be very good to win and either way he'll learn something. Probably underachiever Zab's final opportunity to make a mark and I suspect he'll be well prepared.
Great fight. The younger more athletic fighter should take this eventually, Zabs ring experience backing and knowing this could relegate him, may make him fully focused in peek and well.. good luck Zab.
Last roll of the dice for Zab Judah, use that uppercut Zab and anything might happen.
Excellent news.
This is the fight I wanted to see at 140. If Judah can get his mental game straight for this I'm picking him to KO Khan.
Will this be on Sky Box Office? It seems Sky will only put one show on Box Office per month now and Haye vs Wlad is already on in July!
u guys think this is a good fight? um, ok.
me personally, i would have much rather seen a fucking rematch with the guy who battered khan across the ring and made khan look foolish, maidana. one would think he would want to set the record straight and prove that wasnt a fluke. or the tim bradley fight!
JUDAH is done! u'll see the infamous judah/tzyzu chicken dance once again!
he might beat some chumps now, but he isnt top level anymore by a long shot. the argentine guy mathysses or whatever, beat judah and got robbed. it was sickening to see such a valiant effort from mathysse taken away. makes me wonder why these overseas fighters even come to fight here if they know they will be robbed.
my point: khan is taking the easy road. judah is soiled goods.
Zab's big problem through his whole career is that he got so used to loading up on big left hands whether it be the hook or uppercut and against top top level fighters who have defensive awareness and a chin that cost him. Lately, he hasn't been doing that he's been coasting through fights and it almost seems like that killer instinct that he did have even though he would get worn down. I think he got worn down against Cotto and Clottey and I don't know if he can regain that form. If he could though, it was 2006 (I think?) when he fought Cotto, he would probably beat Khan. Khan still has defensive issues, he still has poor defensive awareness imo and not great punch resistance. But I don't know if Judah has it in him to go for the kill anymore, he seems old and just to be going through the motions and when was the last time he hurt somebody relevant?
Dangerous fight because he has the speed to get to Khan's chin.
Initially when this was mentioned I thought mismatch - Zab was way over the hill and past it.
But after closer inspection, have not really followed Zab's career closely, I have changed my mind somewhat. Can't believe Zab is still only 33 - seems years since he was taken out by Tszyu !
Remember bumping into Zab in a shop on the Mandalay Bay back in 99. Back then I was in my prime and felt I copuld have done him easily ;)
Still pick Khan to win handsomely on the cards, or by late retirement or stoppage, but Zab hopefully will be dangerous for first half of fight.
I think it will be a dangerous fight for Khan in the first 4 rounds then Khan takes over and stops Zab late or boxes saftey first and wins on points.
Zab is a southpaw and still is fast enough to cause Khan problems. If Zab starts to land the left hand Khan might be in abit of bover. But i favour Khan in a big way for this fight. But i hope Zab can land that 1 punch to lay out Khan ;D
All the sparing with Manny over last year or so will help Khan out in this fight he will be used to southpaws with speed.
No doubt sparring with Manny will help, BUT sparring and fighting are very different and McCloskey, who is also a southpaw and a good few levels below Judah was causing Khan a couple of problems. I get the feeling Judah might catch Khan in this fight and if he does it will be over.
Judah is a good finisher and he is back at his natural weight for me. I truly believe this is the most dangerous fight out there for Khan at 140 and I am very happy he has taken it. He deserves lots of credit IMO.
... all khan has to do is stand there and judah will beat himself. Another year of khan acting like he beat god after he puts this beat down on judah.
I don't like either fighter so my pick is definitely objective, Khan by unanimous decision if he boxes well and counter punches Judah from round one. First amaze him, frustrate him and ring his school bell. Judah had more chance to fight and retain titles than most people in that division. He has to stop playing games and concentrate but you can't teach an old dog new tricks. So far the grownup wins and Judah has to grow up and become a fighter. You know he's had time.
