i am a semi-fan, but Broner is going to toy with him and finish him in the later rounds. it's unfortunate but this will be Litzau's biggest pay day and i'm happy for him for that. i just don't think haymon would put his fighters in with anything resembling a risk after the close call against a smaller Ponce De Leon and that's why Litzau got the fight.

Broner is a prick, irritating, and low budget floyd but all that doesn't really matter cause he is a pretty decent boxer. Ponce fought damn near his best fight against the guy and gave him very little problems. He will slowly, defensivly, and boringly beat litzau's ass.

I've liked Broner since early in his career so I'll root for him, but damn Litzau looks in great shape

Most on Saddo's felt Ponce De Leon clearly won the fight and was robbed.
Some people were outraged at that decision as I was.
Broner runs and doesn't throw punches and likes to fight much smaller guys coming up in weight.
Litzau is a tough kid with a pretty good punch, but he's a level below Ponce De Leon, at least until recently when he beat Celestiano Cabellero.
So its going to be hard for Litzau to catch the little cocksucker and land enough to hurt or out point him.
Gotta root for Litzau though as Broner is pretty much the biggest shit head of a prospect I've ever come across.

I find Litzau and that cheesy All American gimmick just as annoying. He's deluded himself into thinking he's some kind of top fighter. Boy really hasn't done shit. Guerrero mopped the floor with him. I thought Caballero should of got the win by a point. And he was damn lucky the Juarez fight was stopped when it was. Juarez was starting to make his usual late really.

lol. I know what you mean about that gimmick thing and I thought the same years ago while watching Litzau comparing himself to Ray Leonard on ESPN after beating a bum. But he's kind of grown on me over time and with his new dedication to the sport, Im starting to root for him even more.
We've been seeing a different Litzau lately and we can't count him out.

I think everybody acknowledges his abilities but they're having hard time liking his antics. He's kind of on the Floyd ship. Im not saying he's anywhere near that stratosphere but people just want to see him lose..

Broner is up against a determined fighter with height/reach advantage who can also box a bit too so it's going to be more difficult than Deleon imo. He wasn't close to being convincing against Deleon either.

He's like a poor man's Mayweather, but not as skilled & genuinely unlikeable. He's a dick, but because I spotted him so early I guess I've got a kind of bizarre bond with him.

Broner is way more boring than Floyd, only does just enough to win rounds. Thats why I dont like him. I have been a semi Litzau fan since he fought Nolasco. He is in good form lately and doesnt make as many mistakes as he used to. I dont think a points win is out of question, he has good height and reach for the division. He just has to play it safe and use his height.

I get the feeling a lot of people only saw Broner in the Ponce De Leon fight. He's normally much more active & looks to beat people out of there. I thought he just about edged the Ponce fight by a point, but I've no complaints if it'd gone the other way because he was lazy as fuck. I've still got high hopes for him & like to think that wasn't indicative of how he'll handle higher levels of competition, but maybe I was wrong & it is. I'm bettin on him to prove a point this time & blaze Litzau out of there.

I used to HATE Litzau just like I did Paulie Malinaggi. But, like Malinaggi, he's proven to be one tough son of a bitch and has grown on me.
Your right about the Juarez fight, that was a sham and a cowardly move on Litzau's part to win the fight that way.
But, I disagree with your scoring of the Caballero fight as Litzau definately took that one and outworked the guy.

Yeah but it's only Jason Litzau. Come on now. Lets be real. Litzau has been exposed a long time ago (thank you Jose Hernandez). While I give him credit for continuing to commit himself to the sport it's pretty obvious he's benefited from a good amount of luck. After getting mollywhopped by the Ghost he beat a couple of scrubs and got picked as a get well opponent for Rocky Juarez. It was more of what Juarez didn't do than what Litzau did. He was damn lucky the fight was stopped when it was. Juarez was about to make his usual late rally. The fight got him the Caballero fight. An unmotivated Caballero obviously looked passed him. And even than i think Caballero should of got the W. And now here he is again.
