It is what it is, a tuneup to stay sharp. Long layoffs are not healthy for an aging fighter like Marquez so he's trying to get some rounds in against any southpaw.

You guys said they are fighters of similiar level?? that couldnt be further from the truth. Chi was a legitmate champion at 126 for years and has beaten names like Michael Brodie, Eiichi SUgama, brown and even battled close with a prime Morales. If you guys have seen those fights or are familiar with those names, you wouldn't have any doubts about who's superior. Im not trying to pump up CHi into something more than what he is but you look at their careers and it's Chi who's obviously a level higher. And Chi's performance against a prime Morales tends to get overlooked but watch that fight again and see what kind of hell Morales goes through to get that win. What has Solis done and who has he beaten? He's known for losing to Pacman/gamboa and he couldnt even beat cristobal cruz yet he's on par with someone like Chi who is battle tested and has overcome adversity numerous times??Quote:
