FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
We have some good Puerto Rican prospects this weekend on ESPN and there are some upcoming wars on ShoBox.
PR prospect Kenny Galarza is going to be tested by Irving Garcia and i wouldnt be susprised to see him lose. Depite the record, Garcia is a warrior who has been through it all. He had his little war against an undefeated Carlos Abregu and came up just short so Galarza better come in tip top shape to beat this guy.
Corley has around 16 kids to feed at home which is why he's kept on fighting but it's pretty sad at this point that he's being used as a stepping stone. I see him getting knocked out early by THomas Dulorme..
ShoBox undercards have Ray Marquez/ Art Hovhannesyan which is bound to be a barnburner and Chris Avalos will be taking on Khabir Sulemanov.. If Marquez is what people think he is, he should overcome Hov to a victory. The fighter I'm looking for is Chris Avalos though who has a win over Abner Mares in the AMS.. He's an exciting fighter with a good offensive ability and I think he'll be too much for Khabir..
Which fights are you looking forward to?

Can't miss it. There are alot of low profile fights this weekend but all of them are quality matchups..

Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
F.Y.I., Killersheep usually does the FNF thread here at Saddo's.

No big deal, if someone else gets to it first that's cool.
It's just habit more than anything else. Honestly most of the time the fights on FNF are more quality than the PPV ones (last Friday was the exception).

Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
If Killersheep wants to be in charge of these threads, I'm all for it.. Im sure he does a great job anyway..
Let's just make sure it gets done consistently..

More importantly, I think its better if its done sans Seattle Sounders player sig! ;-)

At least they're still D1! How's about the Hammers?
:D

Sad but true, the last PPV I bought was Pavlik vs Taylor II, and about a minute before the fight started my cable provider crapped out on me, I missed the entire fight, (which wasn't worth paying for) and I couldn't get a refund, because I watched the undercard...

Chris Avalos definately has a AM style. Not alot of variety, and I don't think he can hang with the more rugged types of fighter. SD kid beat him pretty easily. The fight was ruled a SD but that one judge was way off IMO.

Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
The fact that Chop Chop is still fighting is kind of sad. As stated earlier he has 16 mouths to feed but if I am not mistaken 7 of those kids belonged to his deceased brother. Way to man up and try to keep a family together because I have custody of my nephew and he gives me HELL.......but I love him to death

Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
A PERFECT step up fight for this kid.
Why is Chop Chop wearing a backpack?
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
I think Delorme is gonna struggle tonight, he relies too much on people walking into his shots.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Chop-Chop looks fifty, but he's going to be a test.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
It looks like Delorme already figured out Chop Chop ain't going anywhere early and has backed off and gotten patient.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Close round. Delorme did some decent early work so I lean towardss the youngun.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
I gave that one to chop chop. He's not doing anything that will wear down the young pup though, and he may pay dearly for that later.
10-9 Corley.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Nice little punch behind the head to end that round by the youngster, Chop Chop landed that left a couple of times
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Delorme has that awful Berto stance. Legs too wide to move well, betting his power is enough.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Corley looks increasingly confident. Good right hand wins the round.
I have it even.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Delorme took that one with some great body work, he's eating pretty much every right hook Corley throws though.
19 all
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
body shots starting to hurt Corely

You picked that up earlier than I did. BOOMING bodyshots.

I'm just here for the free lemonaide. ;)
Corley gets decked..
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Chop chop does well to survive after getting decked 10-8 for Delorme
29-27 Delorme
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
DeLorme ran out of time BUT
That effort to finsh was damned near perfect! Kept distance, thumped to the body, moved in an arc, variety of punches. Excellent, excellent work!

Agree. Wide, stiff a bit and almost look an after thought to get power off....and there she blooows. GREAT shot
He is open for that left hook just hope he doesnt fall in lust with one punch power
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Ouch! Corley nedds to get off first and tie him up when he doesn't feel like punching because this guy looks like he can be frustrated. But standing in front of him is not cutting it
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Good evening gentlemen.
I heard that I'm going to be getting me some Miguel tonight. :lickish:
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Lets see if Corley can come back from the KD.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Good round for DeLorme. He looks awfully composed for a young guy.
Having said that? Chop Chop is still in this fight.

Greetings Diane. :) is Cotto the guest host tonight?
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Gave that one to Corley, although I was distracted
38-37 Delorme
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
Why is Corley just standing there being a target, I know he is old but this is just annoying me
-
Chop Chop is crafty, don't count him out with this youngster.
-
Re: FNF Fights / ShoBox thread
I don't know if DeLorme has the right uppercut/right cross combo or not.
But if he does he should jab, close, and then throw the uppercut to the body and then the cross. Chop chop is really vulnerable but that's a high-end piece of skill.
