Is the general opinion of wlad deserved?
his brother aside wlad is currently considered the best HW out there in current form, dominant and unbeatable against the current crop, including David Haye
If we look at when his current form started (which arguably started after Sam Peter 1) how good has that run been?
what has his best win been in that time? How many of his oppponents had the tools to trouble any of the main HW champs of years gone by? In that time how many times has wlad been in a fight where his opponent has a real chance of winning?
In current form would David Haye have had any more trouble with these fighters than wlad has?
Has wlad ever been really such an outstanding heavyweight?

Re: Is the general opinion of wlad deserved?
Wlad has fought ranked guy after ranked guy and KO'd almost all of them. He has clearly improved over time, fights smart and is always in shape.
What more can we really ask?
Sure his foes stink, the division is awful. But he is doing everything that can be done with it isn't he?
As far as what would 13 have done? There is a huge difference between actually having DONE something and SPECULATING what someone else MIGHT have done.

Chagaev or Chambers I suppose. 13 loses to both.

Well we'll never know because your boy won't fight him.
Wlad fought him on short notice and whipped his ass. Wlad had first offered that fight to Valuev who...for some odd reason declined.
Wlad's competition compared to the WBA title holder's is amazing. Wlad's competition never had a chance because Wlad is a great fighter, the WBA title holder's competition never had a chance because they sucked....Audley Harrison??? Monte Barrett??? Wlad whipped Monte Barrett YEARS ago!

my boy is 5 years old, it wouldnt be great parenting to put him in a fight with a professional boxer
wlad fought chag on short notice? man you are deranged, wlad had been training for the biggest fight of his life, chag took the fight at short notice
and haye was gonna fight chag wasnt he? didnt his aids get in the way?
do you honestly think chag would beat haye?
and this isnt a thread about whos competition at HW is better coz haye has only fought 5 or 6 times and it is a no brainer, this is a thread about has wlads recent competition over rated his stock?

Re: Is the general opinion of wlad deserved?
The better question is whether the general opinion of Haye is deserved. He is made out to be this monstrous cruiserweight, but his best win at cruiserweight was probably over Enzo Maccanarelli or Giacobbi Fragomeni. :p All in all, Haye's best win is probably Nikolai Valuev.
Let's say Wlad beats Haye on July 3? Will Haye be Wlad's best victory?

funniest thread in quite some time
Wlad did take on Chagaev on short notice cause he was ready to fight an orthodox fighter with a pretty straight forward style, then had to change to fighting a slick southpaw with fast hands, due to the fact that Haye's period dropped, Wlad was ready physically but in terms of strategy he took the fight on short notice
but back to the main topic of the thread, i'll just put it this way, Wlad has beat every top 10 guy put in front of him since winning the title and has KO'd all but one of them (Ibragimov), he's beaten them all with ease and i repeat all have been top 10 guys, the real question is,
What the hell has David Haye done to be considered such a threat against the #1 HW in the world? the real answer is jack shit, he beat a giant who was given gifts against Ruiz of all people, fought an ancient Barrett and Ruiz himself, then fought the mighty Audley Harrison :-X
give it up buddy you're transparent

that is a good question, your first question is as equally as valid as the question in this thread
to the last question i think the answer maybe maybe not but i think wlad will consider it that way

the bit i have put in bold is one way of looking at it, not really a fair reflection tho, chag hadnt been in training wlad had been in training for the biggest fight of his life
are you telling me everytime and up and coming fighter fights a journey man that has been named for the the fight only a few days before it is the journey man is the one with all the advantages? with any advantage at all in fact? wlad had all the advantages that is a fact. so come on man, you hate haye but lets be reasonable in this discussion
so yes back to the point of the thread, yes wlad has beaten everyone, all the top ten men, but how good and how much of a thread were they in reality?
that is the real question of the thread, not what you sugest it is in the last paragraph
-

#1 You know what I meant
#2 Wlad had trained to fight a certain fighter who pulled out at the last minute do to a "back injury". Chagaev had trained to fight Valuev in Finland but oddly Finland wouldn't allow the fight to happen due to Chagaev's hepatitis. So for the sake of not wasting time Wlad offered the fight to Valuev and then to Chagaev who agreed. Seeing how Chagaev wasn't who they were training to fight and camp was damn near over I consider that short notice. Chagaev was a different style fighter altogether...at least Valuev was tall and orthodox like Wlad is, the skill level is entirely different but oh well.
#3 Yeah, sure, just like he was going to fight dangerous opposition when Monte damn Barrett showed up :vd: ...he was NEVER going to go through with that fight the hepatitis just gave him an excuse.
#4 if anyone's competition has overrated their stock its the WBA title holder, at heavyweight AND cruiserweight. He was given one of the easiest roads to a belt I've ever seen.

1# no i dont
2# only a very daft and blinkered person would give wlad aditional credit for the chag fight being at "short notice"
3# only a very daft and blinkered person would actually believe that the hepititis gave david haye an excuse not to fight chag, and that haye wouldnt win a fight between the two
4# only a very daft and blinkered person would not give haye credit for what he achieved at cruiser

OK well let's leave the Chagaev fight alone then...I mean Wlad COULD have waited for the WBA title holder's injury to heal and wait for him to come back around and fight, but Wlad (as his 55-3 record suggests) likes to stay active and he risked his titles to fight a guy he hadn't trained to fight....but I digress.
I don't care about the WBA title holder's cruiserweight triumphs...its not like he beat Dwight Qawi or Bert Cooper or Eddie Mustafa Muhamad....he beat Mormeck and some Italian dude that cut him up. His assertion that beating Alexander Gurov (who's 6'5) is akin to beating Wladimir Klitschko is like me saying that I can beat Kobe Bryant in 1 on 1 because this one time I beat another black guy in 1 on 1.

No I didn't admit you were anywhere close to being right. I said let's put that fight aside and look at any other fights of his as you're so willing to just chalk up Chagaev as some sort of bum.....too bad Chagaev beat Valuev better than the WBA title holder did, that's a shame it makes that title "win" seem hollow especially since Chagaev never LOST the title, he got stripped of it.
As for risking the titles, they were up for grabs...all Chagaev had to do was win. At least Ruslan was man enough to take the fight. The titles will be "up for grabs" on July 2nd....I don't see it as much of a gamble this time either...well not for Wlad.
I'm thinking the WBA title holder will need to bring some suspenders with him, because he's not leaving with a belt.

Wlad hasn't taken a risk with his titles his whole reign. Chagaev a risk that's hysterically funny.

John Ruiz was robbed against Chagaev for christ sake. Look what Haye did to him.

Well either you're saying Wlad is just that good or that he's ducking someone.....well we all know he's not ducking anyone .
Wlad has offered to fight anyone and the only top rated people he hasn't fought have just declined to fight him (namely Valuev, Povetkin, and the WBA title holder though I hope that ends July 2nd). Who else does Wlad need to fight to prove he's great?
-
Re: Is the general opinion of wlad deserved?
I think few people Wald has beat would have a chance or better then a chance to beat Haye. As for Wald for a man with his number of title defense, ko percentage, win to lose ratio and number of top 10 wins i dont think he gets much credit. And if he beats Haye i am not so sure thats Walds best win either.
-
The best question in the thread was this:
If Wlad beats Haye, will that be his biggest win yet, or his biggest win since he became dominant?
That's a great question, if Wlad pummells Haye convincingly then I actually think it will be, there is more hype and expectation around this fight than any other.

Here we go again (el cockbong) plugging into klit again what a fucking shocker! I will be glad when Haye beats your boyfriend, with a bit of luck we will not read your wank again & I think you are scraping the bottom of the barrel giving klit praise taking fights short notice, where was the praise for lennox lewis after taking on a young vitali short notice? Lewis was 37 & past his best but still made vitalie's face look like a melted wellie!

And you are? I like your attitude and original views....man, your posting is a breath of fresh air because there's NOBODY that cheers against the Klitschko's. And you're brave enough to do it on the internet too....wow.
I had no idea we were discussing Vitali and Lewis...great fight and short notice for both fighters. That would be off topic for this thread but I've given Lewis his due respect before for that fight....there not being a rematch is a point of contention though.
Oh and if you don't like my posting...please feel free to skip it, though I know your type and you're bound to keep reading it....it makes me happy knowing that every line I write is torture to you.

Sorry I didn't introduce myself , how can I pos expect you to know me? Maybe if I post another 30,000 posts you might. That truly is amazing though 30,000 + posts , that must take dedication & a lack of a real life to accomplish such a feat ! Any way I don't dislike your posts I actualy think you are quite knowledgeable on boxing . I just don't like it when you are constantly sucking klit off, because let's face it he's not that good.

better wins in what way?
haye would beat both fighters more times than not
the fight against haye is much more high profile
i think a win against haye for wlad would be much bigger

That truly is amazing though 30,000 + posts , that must take dedication & a lack of a real life to accomplish such a feat ! Any way I don't dislike your posts I actualy think you are quite knowledgeable on boxing . I just don't like it when you are constantly sucking klit off, because let's face it he's not that good.
....And his opponent is? All the WBA title holder has done is talk, the guy hasn't proven himself against 1 single top ranked boxer or power puncher and (despite your opinion) Wlad is (in this current division) the best boxer and power puncher the WBA title holder could hope to face ergo I don't think its a difficult fight for Wlad.
If a quiet fighter's only big wins at heavyweight had been vs Monte Barrett, Nicolay Valuev, John Ruiz, and Audley Harrison would he be considered dangerous? Would the fight be a big deal like it is? I doubt it.

No I'm saying there has been no one in the division that you could consider a 'risk' at any strech of the imagination.
There is no one to duck.
Wlad's problem is that if he easily dusts haye off there is NO ONE in the division to give him that defining fight. Vitali has a similar problem although he got to fight Lewis in an epic and the fight probably did define him. Wlad hasn't and probably never will have that. It's just unlucky for him.

Helenius is better than I thought he'd be (so far). He's coming along slowly and fighting decent opposition. Its yet to be seen how good he'll eventually be. We've still yet to see Povetkin reach his potential as well.
I think right now Wlad's career defining fight is the first Sam Peter fight. The reasons being that Wlad's career was on the line, he dealt with adversity, and at the time Sam Peter was seen as "the next champion". Certainly the view of Peter has changed now, but back then that was the most dangerous fight for Wlad and he came through the fire a better fighter, his demons exercised.
I hope this fight is good, but I don't expect it to be.

I don't care about the WBA title holder's cruiserweight triumphs...its not like he beat Dwight Qawi or Bert Cooper or Eddie Mustafa Muhamad....he beat Mormeck and some Italian dude that cut him up. His assertion that beating Alexander Gurov (who's 6'5) is akin to beating Wladimir Klitschko is like me saying that I can beat Kobe Bryant in 1 on 1 because this one time I beat another black guy in 1 on 1.
so you admit you was wrong and i was wright then
thats good man, we are getting somewhere with you finally
o and p.s. risked his titles my big hairy bum :)
I'm thinking the WBA title holder will need to bring some suspenders with him, because he's not leaving with a belt.
you want to put that fight asside because i won the argument about it :)
Not really, actually.
not not actually, i really did win the argument
its not hard to get the better of you when it comes top wlad tho

Haye has only been in the HW division for 5 minutes & he's already fighting someone decent. As for the ( IBF/WBO title holder) he's been fighting chubby stiffs for years what's his excuse? When all is said & done & the ( IBF/ WBO title holder ) loses to haye I want ( el cockbong) to think of me! P.s see what I did !

#1 He had a chance to fight Wlad 2 years ago
#2 His competition up to this point has been poor even given the state of the division there were better fights out there for him.
Sure, if he wins I'll shed a single tear just for you....would you want me to save it in a jar and mail it to you as well?
