Don't be silly.
It's a total disgrace this man was ever let in a boxing ring. No talent. No heart. Boring. Full of excuses. Has there ever been a bigger fraud? The trainers at fitzroy lodge have a lot to answer for. Sack them. Close that gym. Adam Booth should be shot. Never in the history of boxing has a bigger joke existed than David Haye. Fact.

I'm afraid you may be right Fenster. When I head into training tomorrow, I'll tell Mick that he should start closing the gym down by the end of the month as a result of the shame that 13/the former WBA titleholder/that cowardly bastard has brought upon the gym. I'll then never put on gloves again because I am a coward by connection to he who shall not be named. Then there should be a missile strike on the London Boroughs of Southwark & Lambeth, just so there can be no more cowardice emanating from there. Then maybe, just maybe, the world will be safe from any more of his horrific actions.

Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
I think that when Haye fights these guys, they should have their hands tied behind their back just in case Haye should have the courage to make it competitive or maybe he has a hang nail.
-
Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
I think he could have, but obviously Sanders and Brewster at their best would have been tough fights for him, and probably a good watch to. You've got to imagine he probably would have beaten Wlad if the big man had shown up in the same form as he did against Purrity and Brewster as well though, clearly Wlad wasn't fit to last 12 rounds on either of those occasions. Maybe Haye would've gotten caught first if Wlad went for broke early though:confused: who knows. All I'd say for sure is Id rather watch just about any hypothetical fight you can think of than Haye vs Wlad again.

Problem I saw is that Haye deviated from what was effective. I remember saying before the fight that if Haye counter jabbed or used it against Wladimir he'd have success much like Brewster did that set everything up.
Haye early when he decided to double and triple jab was doing very well with it and by the third round was finding the range and setting stuff up with it and snapped his head back with it a few times. By the 5th round he abandoned it and I can't imagine why, it's not like Wladimir was countering it.
Haye has shown the mentality to not change up his gameplan, he went in there with a plan to fight on the outside and jump in to try to land the right hand so regardless of him noticing "hmm.. this jab is working, I might have some success if I stick to it...nope gonna just stick to the gameplan" That's the problem against fighters like Brewster or Sanders at their peak cause he'd have to change it eventually. But he doesn't seem to like to, for better or worse.

I agree 100%. Glad t see you realized the Fraud of Haye.

Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
I don't think he would of beaten any of them, even Ross Purrity was underrated. And i think he could of got David Haye in the later rounds, i remember he had a very good performance vs Tommy Morrison aswell flooring him 2 times.

Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
I'll tell you who else Haye wouldn't have beat - Fat John McDermott, Pele Reid, Peter McNeeley, Lou Savarese, Clifford Etienne, John Ruiz, Valuev, Monte Barrett and Audley Harrison.
Why oh why was he ever let in a boxing ring. Shocking.

Peter McNeeley LOL even though he was a joke, i did admire how he went straight after Mike Tyson. But that attack lasted all of 30 seconds.

That's all he would need against Haye... a useless coward with no heart, overrated power, no chin and no boxing ability crumbles under the McNeeley surge. Trust me.

You're making a joke out of Wladimir Klitschko.

I see the name Carl Thompson was mysteriously left out. Wonder why?

Well David Haye's performance has officially driven Fenster insane.
I don't pretend to know how a fight vs Brewster or Sanders would go for Haye, but on their given nights all 3 I am sure are very capable fighters.
David Haye is considered a coward by some due to how he fought not that he fought. Getting in the ring with Wladimir Klitschko is a big ask for anyone, but to talk that amount of trash and fight in the manner he did and then blame it all on a broken toe is childish.
Haye should be very humbled right now, yet he's still wanting a rematch that he did not come close to deserving.

Correct. It's blatantly obvious Haye is the biggest joke ever in boxing. Me personally, I think Wlad deserves some credit, but there you go, poor Wlad has been ignored yet again after a dominant winning performance.
Poor guy will never get the credit he deserves.

Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
C'mon guys. Haye had a broken toe. That's the only reason he couldn't stand toe to toe with Wlad.
Although, those trunks did look a little light.... maybe Haye was missing his balls, too?
I think Kevin Johnson did a far worse job than Haye in trying to capture the title from Vitali. He basically did the same thing but never threw shit to make a difference.

Wlad would KO Harrison the same way he did Austin, quickly and in the opening round

Corrie sanders was the man. Shame he never really committed himself. He was always trying to become a pro golfer. Had some crazy power. Anyone else a big fan of him?

I'm no fan of his but he was indeed a very dangerous fighter. Crazy power, awkward delivery, and although he wasn't in shape he gave 100% effort in the ring.
Had he truly dedicated himself to boxing he would have challenged Lennox Lewis.

no chance. He would have won by UD or got caught by Audley late on and stopped

Well let's just sit back and see if Haye has the sand to bounce back and actually achieve something at heavyweight. Since the Brewster loss Wlad is undefeated and holds a number of belts and is considered the best heavyweight of his era...... and David Haye is still walking with a limp
-
Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
That's one of the few things that Haye and Wlad seem to have in common (other than both being accused of having glass jaws that is!).
Haye got stopped very early on in his career when he was a young prospect, but was able to rebuild and eventually become the undisputed champion of his division and a belt holder in another.
Wlad also got stopped a few times earlier and then not so early in his career, but was able to rebuild himself and go on to dominate the division.
Say what you want about Haye, but he has shown that he can go in to a fight with a bad attitude, be humbled, learn from it and become a better fighter for it... it wouldn't surprise me to see him do it again... assuming he shakes off this October bullshit.
I guess we'll have to wait and see. I think there are some decent fights out there for the guy, if he sorts his attitude.
So yeah, both fighters have shown they've got what it takes to make lame excuses for a humiliating loss/comeback from one. ;)

Re: Could Haye have beaten Purity, Sanders or Brewster?
Haye would have his hands full but you never know. One thing I know for certain is the Wlad of the last 5 years would have destroyed Purity, Sanders and Brewster. Well we saw what happened to Brewster...;D
