Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
This was some weird shit, Floyd Sr wants to fight Jr., Junior tells Senior to get the fuck outta my gym and calls daddy a faggot... lmao.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9I2b...eature=related
I hope Ortiz kicks Jr's ass. ;)

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
Just watched this episode, i would say it would be a big distraction to any other boxer except Floyd. It's seems he always has some type of BS going on in his life. Him and his father will always have issues it seems. I was hella laughing when Jr. was telling Sr. "you wasn't shit as a boxer, how the fuck you gonna train someone!!"
-
Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
It does shed a bit of light of Floyd's persona I guess, he's a success story just for the fact that didn't go to jail or get into hard drugs growing up with a dad like that. I dont know which is funnier; repeatedly calling your son a motherfucker or your dad a faggot. Must've been some fascinating dinner conversations in that household.

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
Just more mayweather bullshit , really classy family ;D

You know the world's gone crazy when Roger is the one trying to calm things down!

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
Great episode, wasn't sure if it was set up or not.
In a weird way they look dysfunctionally functional. I mean, they don't have any trouble communicating how they feel with each other.

HBO tried to make it sound like it was business as usual, but I don't know.
Mayweather Jr's new g/f/wife didn't look bad at all did she, maybe Floyd ain't as stupid as he looks. ;)

Yeah I agree, she was beautiful looking, even better looking than Tarver's ex missus.

The fight between the two Floyd's looked a bit exaggerated for the cameras to me. Pretty ghetto though.
Awwww you mean Tarver and his hot wife divorced ?

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
I didnt find it funny at all.. Watching somebody treat their father that way was pathetic and sad really.. I was always an avid fan of Floyd as a fighter and Ill always be but after what i saw on 24/7, im really turned off by him as a human being. I dont give a shit what your father did to you.. There's a certain line that you can never cross and jr crossed it in front of the whole world.. BOth Floyd Sr and Jr have mad issues but what Jr did in front of that camera was unacceptable. Floyd needs a life changing experience.this foo needs to do some soul searching.. he needs to survive a gunshot or something then maybe he can have a new outlook on life..
I felt really bad for Floyd Sr.. This is an old man.. if he wants some shine, shit, let him fuckin have some..
-
Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
What ???!!!!! Floyd is an asshole ?! No way. He's gonna loose for sure now. We all know the rules, clean effective punching, ring generaship and you have to be a really nice guy. He has no chance. People act like this is the first time they've seen the guy, this crap is for non boxing fans to build up the fight, any real fight fan watching this garbage like anything more than the story lines of the wwe is silly. Floyd could dress up like a woman and sing blue moon to his dad in a ricky hatton fatsuit out of the ring.....and it will make absolutly no difference in the outcome of this silly fight. I like ortiz, but floyd vs his dad would probably make a better fight.

I gt the feeling watching that that is just usual behaviour between them. It wouldnt surprise if they spent Sunday watching the show together and laughing about it.
As I said above, their relationship is dysfunctional but healthy. I mean they both feel totally able to express how they feel and probably forget it all in an instant.
I can't help but like Floyd in a way. He's a total dick, but because he's just completely uninhibited to say whatever he wants to say. I'd love to walk around with his self confidence and swagger, although I'd probably not last the night if I went out like that.

well said!!! never disrespect your father...

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
Had to pause that ignorant crap quarter of the way in. Floyd has daddy issues and really HBO can-should do better than that Maury Povich lets watch a live car crash bullshit. That ain't boxing thats theatrical promotion reduced to the lowest common denominator. Who cares if its 'real' or not. Ironic how they can go from spot lighting the kids in the gym to seconds later acting as such. Its tired...shut up and fight already :p

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
If your father is a dick then disrespect him to the max. Respect is earned and if a father wants the respect of his son then he has to conduct himself appropriately, I doubt senior has ever done that. Rats tend to breed rats and we shouldn't be surprised when they start to eat each other.

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
It bothers me the way that people air their dirty linen on television and Floyd is as phony as they come. He was telling his father off and profiling for the camera at the same time. If you must tell someone off, don't involve the public, Can you spell D.I.C.K.? It's the other spelling for Pretty Boy Floyd. Pardon me because I just coked on the pretty boy comparison. He's still a talented creep though.

I know, things like punching people in the head for money and our entertainment. How dare they indeed!

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
 ^
...anyway, I wonder how much of this was played for drama and hype. To me this is a very run of the mill fight, my guess is they feel they need to shoe horn in a story as usual.

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
I won't even watch it. I have not, and will not watch any of the 24/7's with Mayweather in it. I would get so disgusted with him and his pathetic, childish behavior.
Well..... I would record it, and fast forward through his shit if he ever fought Cotto or Martinez. :lickish: Might get another nice butt shot. ;)
But I guess I don't have to worry about him fighting either of those two. ;D
-
Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
I want to watch this fight but not pay for it.
-
Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
Isn't this the same argument these two have been having over a decade... the same they used to promote the de la hoya fight? When the episode first started and Floyd started yapping about dominating for 16years like he's been fighting 3 fights a year all this time, I thought I was going to change the channel. I should have.
P.S. no denying his lady was hot though. Lets hope we don't read about her having to charges against him sometime in the future. For both their sakes.

I'm with you on that, I nomally can't stand looking at Mayweather, there was nothing on TV the other night so I tuned into 24/7 to see how my boy "Surfer Vic" Ortiz was doing, and ended up seeing this shit with Jr & Sr.
I'm going to try and find a stream for this HBO PPV on Sept 17th, i'm just curious if Ortiz can make a competitive scrap out of this, i'm betting he can, but we shall see. :) If Duckweather starts dominating, i'll turn the fight off and do something else.

I'll never pay for a Mayweather PPV, because no way do I want to put money in that piece of shits pocket.

My sentiments exactly, I wouldn't even pay to see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, but you can bet i'd find a stream. ;)

Re: Mayweather Jr vs Sr on 24/7
Noticed Roger stayed out of it and did not interject. Floyd Snr has been saying this stuff for ages that he trained Floyd. Floyd just said how could you train me when you were in jail most of the time. they should be on the Jeremy Kyle/Jerry springer show.
