Big day of Tennis Federer vDjokovic - Nadal v Murray!!

Can't wait first match starts on Sky Sports one at 5pm just under 2 hours. First on is Federer v Djokovic then Nadal v Murray.

Who do we fancy to go through I am really struggling to decide, I think Federer has looked as good as he has all season but seems to go to pieces when he meets the top players more often than not these days.

Djokovic had a tough match against Tipsarovic in the quaters and another day could of lost that match, I have a feeling Federer can win this in 4!! But I am not that confident.

I think Murray is the slight favourite in this one Nadal has played pretty well this Us Open without being tested too much apart form the first set and a half v Nalbandain, Murray is a better Hard Court player for me and has a 3-1 winning record over Nadal in Grand Slam hard court matches and his only defeat being as a 19 year old in 5 sets at the Aussie Open. I take Murray in 4!!

No doubt that means it will be Nadal v Djokovic final!! :p

I reckon Novak v Nadal final if it stops raining. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fed beat Novak though.

1st in the bag, I thought he was gonna bottle it then 4 set points wasted. 7-6 Federer first set.

Hope Roger wins too but doubt it.

Roger as he usually does in the big matches these days his head goes, I have to admit Novak has upped his game but Roger from 2-0 up is now 2-2. Looks like there is only one winner here now. :-\

What a match!! Djokovic loses his serve to love to 5-3 down in the 5th, Federer serving for the match has blown 2 match points!!!!

Poor Federer he really has turned into a bottle job in the majority of the big matches these days wtf is up with him?

He has gone from 5-3 40-15 up with two match points in the 5th set to Djokovic now serving for the match 6-5, so sad to see. :(

Djokovic serves out to 15 wihtout much fuss Djokovic wins 6-7 4-6 6-3 6-2 7-5

Gutted.

Murray was getting outclassed first two sets by Nadal, has changed his game up and now playing much better and has just took the third set.

Nadal leading 6-4 6-2 3-6...

Gutted for Federer - how did he lose that. Mentally now he just can't overcome Djokovic or Nadal

This is the best Tennis match I have ever seen what a match Djokovic served for the match for a straight sets win Nadal broke and just won the third set. Djokovic winning 2-1 but Nadal got the momentum now. Nearly 4 hours long this match only three sets gone the standard is scary. Amazing tennis.

Is that what footballers use to get fit quickly? If it works why don't Fed, Murray and nadal use it?

To be fair its no different to Nadal who has quite clearly wanked his way to a bionic left arm. Frowned upon maybe, but not illegal.

Wanking would not be illegal, that's arm power, no different from weights.

Sitting in an artificial oxygen chamber that increases red blood cells more than doping does is close to crossing a line imo.

Hopefully it will either get outlawed or else all the top guys will start doing it and cancel out the advantage that way.

It won't make him a better tennis player of course, that's all his skill, dedication and talent but it does go a long way to explaining how, from being known as a guy who faded in long matches, he is now the most durable and energetic player on the court.

Fair play to him though I guess, I would do whatever it took to get an advantage like that too, and nothing stopping the other top players.

Andy Murray just be doing it immediately imo.

NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Well, look, you know, I said yesterday, and I'm gonna repeat it I think for the last time, you know, because I really wouldn't like to speak about it anymore because I don't there is no reason to open the subject. I have used it a couple of times, very few times last year just to test it and see how it is, and since then I haven't used it at all, you know, this year. So I cannot really say what's the effect. It doesn't have any influence on my success that I had in last 10 months, so that's really all I can say.

Q. Is there something controversial about it, for those of us that aren't that familiar with it?

NOVAK DJOKOVIC: I really don't know. There is nothing controversial. As I was aware, you know, many athletes, successful athletes, have been using that in the past. But as I said, I haven't used it for 12 months so I really don't know. I didn't keep track with its technology.

Wonder if any top boxers use it?
