Floydiots mass suicide. ;D
Rematch or Ortiz-Pac. One or the other
Hell freezes over immediately afterwards.
if it did happen ortiz v pac will happen next without a doubt, probably before the end of the year
actually floyd might go on to fight pac
pac would fight one of them anyway, that saying he won
or even maybe if he lost
This and other boxing forums will crash because it will be flooded with anti-Mayweather bashings.
I must be the only person it seems who doesn't thinks it's impossible to see a Ortiz victory. I'm not picking Ortiz, don't get me wrong but he could be the toughest fighter PBF has faced in a very long time. If he catches Mayweather the way Shane did he wont let him off the hook. Mosley didn't go in for the kill simply because he couldn't. Don't tell me that Mosley was better than the Ortiz who will be facing Mayweather, even with hindsight of course PBF should have toyed with that Mosley he is considered by many to be the greatest boxer on the planet and Mosley is an old fighter with a lot of mileage on the clock. I admit i thought it would be a tough fight also  But at least with Ortiz we know he can improve on each performance, he is coming in to his prime soon. If it wasn't for the Maidana loss and the draw with Peterson people would be talking about how Ortiz is a monster. But who knows what happened on those nights? I think he was struggling with the pressure being put on him and the way he was supposed to be the next big thing. No big deal everyone is affected in different ways, some people thrive on that some don't. Ortiz doesn't always come across as a gobshite who loves the sound of his own voice. He has done well to redeem himself lately. Ortiz is bigger, he's hungry, and he still feels the need to prove people wrong. Dangerous ingredients!
Mayweather has the skills but never underestimate a mans will to win, especially when his back is against the wall.
I think he is going to be in great shape and mentally prepared for the fight of his life.
Back to the question ;D If Mayweather loses he will probably fight Pac with no need for extra drugs tests.
Would love to see Ortiz win
Immediate rematch, what else. Floyd safely outboxes ortiz in a rematch to a decision..
If he wins i will be an ortiz fan.
Ortiz took the tests..he took the fight
He is proving to the world he has nothing to hide and is a clean athlete in this fight.
Very big IF !!!
Ortiz would have an open cheque book and can fight anyone he wants but more than likely it will be Pac Man.
If frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their asses when the hopped ;D
Though, should Unicorns replace cars as mass transit and Ortiz wins I would piss myself, literally. Out as much of surprise followed with continuous laughter. Loud obnoxious laughter.
Well if he wins, whoever is making excuses for Floyd should be banned immediately no ifs no buts, one measly excuse and poof.
The word Poof is a sound, but in this case can be taken each and every way as is the full intention of the proposed insinuation, all rights reserved.
Since a Pactard fired 1st shot on this thread I'll go there.. JMM has a better shot at beating PAC a 3rd time whoops... My bad. JMM has a better shot of beating PAC than Ortiz beating Mayweather..
Ortiz moves straight up & beats Martinez as well
Yep, that's actually a better way to look at it. ;)
If Ortiz wins there will pobably be an immediate rematch where Mayweather wins easy as he should have first time around. (as has already been said), but even then the Pac match up would have lost some of it's appeal.
If Ortiz wins, I think it would be wise for Floyds latest to go live with her mother for a while;).
I think these things will happen if Floyd's got beaten by Ortiz:
1. Roger will suspect Ortiz is on A-side meth made in the Philippines.
2. Floyd will look into the results of his implemented Olympic drug tests and will rule out that his Uncle is right.. There is a an A-side meth made in the Philippines -- which is undetectable..
3. This will require parties to talk about having a rematch.. thats good for GBP..
4. Im about to guess what will be the imposed drug test procedures on the rematch..
If my grandma had wheels she'd be a bicycle... :p
When the fight was announced I thought that Ortiz had a chance, a very good chance actually.
But then recently I decided Ademek would have a chance against Vitali.
So now I've realised that the best are a cut above the rest and although I think Ortiz will land some decent shots, I think he'll be showing Mayweather too much respect and by the end they'll be touching gloves every few minutes, meanwhile Mayweather lands all the good shots.
Oh and IF Ortiz beats Mayweather, he should retire because it doesn't get much better than that!
Realistically he'd probably fight Manny because Floyd would retire.
I'm wondering...maybe Ortiz had good preparation, Berto isn't the spitting image of Floyd but he's got similar defense, he's more aggressive, and might hit harder (but not sharper).
Ortiz doesn't jab, but being a southpaw that is GREAT vs Floyd. If Vic can dig to the body effectively and get Floyd to drop his hands more then he could pull off an upset.
That said, I expect Floyd by a wide UD or stoppage and if he gets caught its only because he's lazy not because he's lost a step.
