Reminds me of family of mixed race people I lived with once in the early 80's they'd steal anything from anyone but on the other hand would share everything with anyone.They wouldn't go out of their way to look for trouble, but they sure as hell finished it. I found that quite endearing. They'd russle and slaughter cattle to feed their family better too.I can see why 'normal people' fear them and hate them but if you help them up just once in any way, you are part of them forever and they'll never mess with you. Much more trust worthy and stand alone than patch wearing bikers are.

Andre, they own the land BUT only have planning permission for part of it....which means kicking out 400 folks. If you're travellers why have statics, why say you've been there for 10 years....have nowhere to go (doesn't stop them parking up on any bit of green land they find, shitting in bushes and leaving bags of rubbish, gas bottles, fridges etc for council payers money to clean up).

No in all seriousness, I admire you for going over to Korea. Obviously I can't tell if it is REALLY right for you but it is very commendable at least, that you made the decision to go. I think we all should have that Global mentality. My wife has serious plans to move to Australia and I am very reluctant but I wish I wasn't... 10 years next year! Lots of ups and downs, but in terms of career am on the up so have no regrets. Most people are too scared of taking a jump, but the experience has changed me and I think for the better. There are things I could never have changed whilst living in the UK. If your wife is serious and the prospects are serious then you should loosen up. There is always that chance that it works out and already you know you've given up on England. If it all goes tits up returning home could always be another option. Sometimes we are forced to deal with life changing events and it is all about how we react when they come across.Quote:
