Mine is probably Kelly Holmes winning the Olympic 800m and 1500m in 2004.
Most dramatic is Michael Thomas last minute goal for Arsenal against Liverpool in 1988.

There's been a few moments, the incredible match for the Superbowl between the Cards and the Steelers, stressing up to the last minute, the Boston Bruins winning the Stanley Cup this year after almost 40 years, the Red Sox exorcising the curse of the Bambino after 80+ years...
There have been a few:
- Jonah Lomu appearing from nowhere and single handedly crushing England in the Rugby World Cup
- Usain Bolt's Olympic 100m gold
- Borg / McEnroe at Wimbledon
- Federer's absolute perfection against Hewitt in the Australian Open 2005
- Seb Coe's 800m in Moscow Olympics
2004 ALCS Boston Red Sox come from being down 3 games to 0 to beat the Yankees and then sweep the World Series
2007 Red Sox win the World Series

East Carolina beating the football powerhouse on Miami AT NC State (due to Hurricane Floyd & flooding in Greenville, NC) tearing down the goalposts and then playing NC State AT NC State and beating them....also wearing buttons that said "We thanked 'em, then we spanked 'em" before the game....good times ;D
That was amazing...i'd still put Gazzas goal against Scotland before it tho in Euro 96!
The whole pub was trashed after Seamen saved that penalty..200 nutters going apeshit then the Goal..The Boozer looked like a fucking war zone..smashed glass everywhere, people bleeding and soaked thru with beer.hahaha Great tournament that!!
Any defeat suffered by VerminPool usually makes my day.
I reckon Jon Jones fighting Rampage this weekend will be pretty epic.
Jonathan Edwards double world record. Defied gravity, different planet stuff.
Devon Malcom 9 for 50 odd against South Africa. Always a bit all over the shop from what I remember but he was on fire that day.
Mike Atherton V Alan Donald
England V Holland at the Euro's, happy days.
Gabriella Sabatini on hot sweaty days at Wimbledon.
The Hulkster's quick fire win over Yokozuna at Wrestlemania IX was pretty special too
And Alex Higgins winning the world title in 1982.
The emotional moment when he won the final will always remembered but the special moment for me (which I always watch 2-3 times a year since !) was the breathtaking do or die 69 clearance in the semi final.

Rafael Nadal vs Roger Federer in the 2008 Wimbledon final. I don't watch much tennis but that was epic.
Pretty much the whole 2006/2007 season under Roy Keane when we won promotion from the Championship. We'd been relegated with 15 points the year before and hadn't started well, but after Keane came we just stormed to the title. This goal didn't clinch promotion or anything, it's just the most memorable goal for me from that season as it was probably the most spectacular. I was right behind the goal too.
