I kinda need advice. Bad times.
I think I have a crush on a 17 year old :(
I'm 29 in a months time :(
I help cover a contracted run into this particutlar school/ college every now and then (for a bit of overtime) in the mornings and there is this one girl who gets on the bus who I just have to admit blows my mind, she is that unbelievably attractive...
Now usually I can simply draw the line at 'pretty' or 'cute' but in a totally non sexual way but I have been thinking about this girl all week!
I have been thinking about this girl, ALL week.
To be honest, I think it's because I know she fancies me and has been saying things and has been trying to flirt with me ever since I started covering this morning run, three weeks ago and I've always been polite but absolutely professional (and I am 100% sure that I haven't been giving off any signals of any kind) and actually, at first I was pretty offended as I am married, with a baby and am practicaly old enough to be her Dad. But it pains me to admit that she has obviously worn me down. Now I must say that I would NEVER indulge in such a depraved fantasy but I am very disappointed that this girl has kinda become just that!
The most frustrating thing is I know I can't even talk to her about it. I can't even get off the run untill another one becomes available.
I do believe that I am probably only high on this girl because she is high on me (which is pathetic, I know) and I am sure this flirting will stop soon enough but it's just something new to me and to be honest I'm just ashamed and disgusted about it.

I can only assume that you feel that when when you fancy a 17 year old you are doing it in a more wholesome and less perverted way than when I fancy my 19 year old neighbour?

First off, there is NOTHING wrong in finding a hot 17 year old attractive. I'm just talking about recognising she is hot, not actually acting upon it.

Secondly, what is wrong with just fancying somebody? I mean why does it have to be acted upon? She's young and pretty, has a youthful, positive energy that you like and makes you feel great when you see her smile at you I bet, what is really wrong with that?
You know nothing can happen, and if it did it would be anti climactic anyway, so don't worry about it. Just enjoy seeing her on the bus run and let the warmth of her smile sustain you for the next few days.

I saw my fit neighbour yesterday for the first time in a fortnight. I was walking down the stairs and she ran and caught up with me on her way to go out with her mum. It's not the thinking that is a crime, it's the action itself. You shouln't feel bad for finding a girl attractive, that's part of the human nature, if you would do a move, that's all another story.
1) I'd say that you should try to limit your contacts with this girl as much as possible in order to not torture yourself and to leave no space for temptation.
2) everytime you feel the tease, keep in mind that you'd just throw your life away and that the relation with the girl couldn't last because she wants way different things than you in life and that a knock out the cherry game doesn't worth losing job (possibly) and the one who really loves you.

My advice is actually the most sensible. Just enjoy the attention. Don't encourage it, but don't flaggellate yourself over it either. Let it be a little bit of validation and a nice ego boost. I highly doubt the girl will try anything, she is only 17 after all. It's just a harmless crush.
To be honest, I'm just a bit annoyed he specifically requested I didn't post in the thread, rather hurt my feelings.:-\

But you are completely right. Imagine the alternative scenario. You're a young guy working a school run, packed full of schoolgirls and none of them find you attractive. That would fucking suck, like every day going to work and being reminded how totally unnappealing you are to hot girls.
He's totally looking at this the wrong way.

The only way that there is an unimagined problem is if you feel that you wouldn't be able to control yourself if she did make a move. Unless that is the case, and I seriously doubt it is, the only problems are in your head.
I agree with Bilbo, enjoy it if you can and if not just try to ignore it. The only way something bad happens is if you allow it and as long as you control yourself you will be fine. Throughout your life there will be women you are seriously attracted to, being married doesn't change that, as long as you play the tape through by doing what Saddo suggests and realize that your family is worth so much more than a fling, you'll be just fine.
I've been with the same girl for almost a goddamn decade. I have been tempted more times that I could count, but I've never acted on it because the negatives far outweigh the positives. I can't imagine ever cheating on the wife, but it doesn't mean I can control who I'm attracted to.

okay so the problem is basically this: Teenagers Girls talk - They talk almost as much as old women, infact they probably do speak more because all though they're not talking for half as long as old old women they fuckin speak three times as fast!
I mean, my fear is that I become that guy that ALL the girls are looking at... If for any reason then just because they wanna know who I am... SERIOUSLY! I'm just paranoid that I'm gonna arrive to a yard full of sniggering mouths, suspicious eyes and pointing fingers when really I just want to be low key. Nothing even happene today though so I guess i've just gotta man up and try to ride the parra train... It's almost like... Actually no IT IS like i have a guilty conscience already (probably because she is very attractive and I was complete head-spun by her).
You know that really odd thing is that I really haven't thought about my wife and kid through this pissy episode, but then I think thats because I'm more concerned with my job than our relationship which in turn is probably because I know I aint ever cheating on them.
I dunno... Maybe I should just relax and stop over thinking... I must sound crazy but Teenage girls man... I just about remember those beasts, they are trouble!!
