Uniform is not a stage prop to grand stand for the camera fella. Hard to imagine some grand discovery of 'no honor' once time is served that wasn't already suggested to going in prior...4 tours? Chances are and I'm willing to bet half the cops he's breaking off on have, are or will serve in a uniform of same stripe.

Brockton, would you care to tell me why you feel serving in Iraq is in fact of greater merit than being a New york city cop, generally speaking? Both would be incredibly nasty ways to earn a living, and cater to the same type of person for the most part. The difference is cities desperately need police officers, noone had to go to Iraq and nothing good has come of it.
Police or Army protect the Cartel, sadly the Cartel are instigating a reason to get the Military to patrol the Streets, wait and see. Thats where it all could go wrong.
Oh and the Federal Reserve is up for revue next year ;D

You get one person standing on a soap box stirring a crowd and it kicks off in a minute...the difference being yes this is the U.S and he had his say and 15 minutes where as in Iraq he very well might be hooded and zip tied. Cops get out of hand and this country as well as others has chapters of history littered with steel boots suppressing and in some cases permanently silencing people in the street. Its a travesty that should be highlighted and not tolerated. Likewise though not all cops and certainly not all soldiers are head crackers and body stacker's. The point is not is the marine grandstanding. The point is not should he use his medals to make his argument. etc etc... forever missing the point is key to unresolved issues.
The ACTUAL POINT is not about the messenger, hard as it is for some to fathom. Basically, in the US over the past say 10 years, Posse Comitatus and other guarantees of protection like Habeus Corpus have either been seriously undermined or outright suspended, unconstitutionally so. Clear evidence of that is all around but sheeple dont want to notice, or they poo-poo it and say its hot air. Yeah, when you are hauled off to FEMA camps that they told you were for "natural disasters", then and only then will you understand.
