Groves all the way, whether he'll get the stoppage or not depends on the style he chooses to adopt in the fight, but I give Smith very little chance. I really really dont rate Smith whatsoever. He got a gift of a decision against an overweight Tony Quigley a couple years back. As I recall on this forum pretty much everyone thought he lost.
I dont think Smith is a SM he would be better off at middle weight,I will go for Groves 10 rounds ko.
Groves points decision or late stoppage.don't think smith should b boxing at super middle he looks very small for the weight
Groves as long as he does not stand and trade. If he does Smith pulls off the upset and sparks him out.

I'm heading up there in a couple of hours. I'd like to see Groves do a number on him but as someone's already said it depends on how he fights. If he boxes and gradually starts to up the tempo i can see a stoppage 8-10. If he gets drawn in to a fight and they stand toe to toe I still make Groves 60/40 favourite but it becomes a lot more dangerous.
A lot of people keep saying Smith is small for the weight but he was British champ so he can obviously mix it there. For what it's worth Boxing News have predicted Groves to a win close hard fought decision.
Have seen Smith fight live a couple times but don't know much about him. I haven't seen his last two easy fights but i saw him taken to school by Degale.
Groves for me, Smith to much of a plodder at the weight.

Quality finish from Groves but still got caught with a silly shot.
I thought Groves was going to win in the ninth round. But he had the perfect shot and finished the fight. I loved the look on his face when he took that shot in the first round. He looked so irritated with himself for taking a big shot like that. Buts hats off to him he took smiths power but smith could not take his power.
I think he will struggle finding good opposition in the UK. He should look to getting a fight with someone in the top 20. Maybe jessie Brinkley or sakio bika he is always a dangerous fight.
Did you see the look on Frank Warren's face when Grove Ko'd Smith, that was priceless. How can groves work for a boss who hates him and wants to see him lose?
