Cleverly-Shumenov: Las Vegas Venue Agreeable To Both
I dont think ive ever seen Shumenov fight
is he any good?
He isnt anything special and that's why frank warrens baby is fighting him!!
If frank thought cleverly could stand a remote chance against an old Hopkins then he would rush for the fight the true way like Eddie Hearn or mick Hennessy would.
Good old frank "squid face" warren
Shumenov looked real bad last time he fought. He got schooled twice by Campllo. He doesn't have much boxing skill, but he makes it up in heart and aggression. Cleverly should win this if he boxes smartly
Great news, i think Cleverly would fight anyone, anywhere, and has been messed about by other fighters so a chance to unify is more than deserved. He fought Bellew in his backyard and didn't let a change of opponent derail him in his first WBO fight when Braemher pulled out. I agree the winner should face Cloud.
In his last fight he did fight with bad rib's,Nathan will beat Shumenov
and Cloud.
He is a lot better fighter, than most of you think.? and I can see him
boxing Cloud head off.;D:jabbing:
Yep, Cleverly beats Shumenov..
It's no mystery why you like Cleverly, Dia, but I dont think he's better than most of us think. He's a decent fighter but I just can't see him becoming a major player in any division.
Id literally be shocked if he could beat Cloud. Cloud knocks out him brutally imo..
I've never seen Shumenov fight, so i can't really comment on that one, but i do think Cleverly's a bit overrated, or at least hasn't been performing to his potential in his recent fights.
I think he'll take the easier route - a couple of home defences against unremarkable European opponents and then a domestic fight with Enzo Mac should he come through his next couple, rather than facing Cloud, Dawson, even Hopkins.
Personally, i'd like to see him face Jean Pascal.
Yes I would like to see him take the easy route, myself but people
go mad when your a world champ.?
I have in the past said time is on his side, and I hope they take
there time with him.
Let him build up slowly, but the brain's in the bucket brigade want
him to fight them now.?;D
When u r a "world champion" u r obligated to fight the Pinacle in the division!
Klitschkos don't get credit as they are mandatory men!
Cleverly is now a glorified bum.
I dont think Cleverly is all that but i wouldnt go far as to call him a bum.. Falsely advertised? yea..
He's a decent fighter, but i dont see him elevating his game much more than what he has right now.
I think Allan Green could go 12 rounds with him..
Well if he is only worthy of the wbo and mandatory fights then he won't amount to much more.
If id had that belt I'd be straight towards Dawson and Hopkins etc to make an impact in victory or defeat.
If your a real world champion why not show it to those guys

If you had that belt, Dawson or Hopkins Brain's in the bucket my
man. Go for glory fuck the career then.
I would say stick to watching Rocky Movie's;D
Yep I would have something to prove unlike chris eubank junior who is a British legend not world!!
In this day and age in boxing having one belt means shit especially wbo, I'd rather have wbf now!
To be rated or known you gotta unify!!
Wouldn't mind seeing this fight. I think I'd favour Shumenov but Cleverly can fight & I think it would be close on the cards
Interesting on your view on title's, it seem's you don't like the WBO?
Can I just say boxing is not all about title's,my man and you like the
blood and glory bit.?
Cleverly is a champ, is he not you don't have to hold all the title's at
once,as for Eubank Jr he is just starting out on his pro career.
May I ask were are you getting the legend bit from.?
Brain's in the bucket, my man you must have lost both so if you
need a hand to find them just ask.?:LOLATYOU:
I mean eubank senior.
My point is british fighters seem to hover around the wbo, in my eyes there are 2 belts WBC and WBA and WBC to me is more quality, I don't even class ibf as a real title but that's my opinion.
And it's not about blood and guts either nor glory as you elequently put it, it's about winning and proving yourself.
Why do I rate Carl froch? Because he has purposely gone out and Fought them all!
Cleverly could do the same but like I said he would rather be a mandatory man (protected)
The thing is Cleverly, is at the begin of his rein as a champion, age and time is on his side,
it's not about fighting the very best, at this stage in his career.?
As for belt's WBC or WBA,being of more quality it's not the belt it's the man that wear's it.?
Froch doe's not have time on his side age, and he take's far to many punch's.
Remember this game is about money, and there can be lot's of it my man so just think about
it.?;D
But he could earn bigger money earlier by going to the top!
You can not have hard fight's, week in week out
the great's never did it.? And your body can not,
take it you will have a short career?
Yes fight the best when you are ready, but not
after20 odd fight's;D
Ok what do you reckon a fight against pascal would be like?
I feel Cleverly could out box him, and it would
be a good fight 12 round war.
And one fight I would like to see;D
It's a great fight for Cleverly. Shumenov isn't as bad as Finita makes him out to be. He's the epitome of a decent boxer. Nothing special, nothing flashy, but he trains hard and comes to fight. It's a good gauge for where Cleverly's at. I don't believe Cleverly is ready for Tavoris Cloud, Bernard Hopkins, Chad Dawson, or Jean Pascal. He's ready for the level below those guys and this is right about there.
