Video: Floyd Mayweather Calls Out Manny Pacquiao! "May 5th Is The Date. Sign The Contract... Im Waiting" + Says Pacman Lost To Marquez All Three Times They Fought
Printable View
If he really belives Pac has six loses, then he has to believe he has one himself too.
In Floyd's opinion, he thinks Pacman lost. But the record say, 2 wins and 1 draw. Which mean, he's 1B in the current P4P ranking and the second biggest cash cow.
So why is he calling him out now? Because anymore close fights, with JMM or anyone else will, will make a 80 to 100 million dollar fight into a 30 million dollar fight.
Can't stand listening to Floyd talk. It takes about 5 minutes for the stuttering bastard to spit out a complete sentence.
"Lemme tell you this.... it's like this.... it's like this.... it's like this... he got.... he got.... cash advance... Bob arum.... it's like..."
UGHHHHH
Ha ha ha!I agree mate.for being one ov the best boxing talents ov all time he is 1 slavering cunt!lol!so frustrating listening to him mumble on!this is a prime example!
Pac talks alot better then does he?!
😊
Lets not split hairs its the public and the unknowing mass who are screaming for this fight!
Bob arum has done a great job like always in promoting pacman..think about if margarcheato didnt fight mosely but pacman did first...manny gets sparked out and margacheato is the one that everyone says floyd is ducking and scared off!
Come on guys. I like manny but when he does loose to floyd will all the manny fans turn into martinez fans and still not give floyd his due?
Floyd being scared of top rank fighters..change the script please!
Can't believe he hasn't told those mouthy bitches in the background to STFU
really dude? just re-read that back to yourself, it's sad that Manny's english isn't much worse than Floyd when it's his second fucking language lol
both guys are douches, I can't stand Manny due to his horde of nutthugging fans but you Mayweather danglers are just as bad, Pacquiao would have beaten Mosley more or less the same as he already did even if he faced the Mosley that fought Margarito, and don't sugar coat it cause Floyd rode off of Mosley's upset win just as badly as Pacquiao did, both guys have done their share of cherrypicking and both are stuck up prima-donnas
only reason this fight is worth a damn is cause inside the ring it's guy #1 vs guy #2, the way it should be in every championship fight, regardless of whether it's p4p, individual weight classes, etc., personally I can't stand either guys bullshit out of the ring
Whilst I believe Manny Pac will give Floyd a good fight I think he will not beat him and this fight should have happened last year. Floyd is seeing the potential cash going down the drain and is desperate to get the fight on, which is funny.
This fight has to take place in May as there is no more excuses left!
Manny will agree to take the tests and we will get an agreement before the end of the year!
Freddie will have to think of a great plan for this one!
Manny doesn't have shock speed that floyd has, floyds style can't slow down even with age.
Manny has shown signs of slowing in certain areas and I believe that is why floyd wants it now!!
Deep down they both have doubts but on tv everyone is watching so you have to call people out.
Will Floyd try and pot shot PAC all night? Will he be man enought to engage? Will he lay on the ropes and try to shoulder roll all night. What if PAC decides to go to the body all night to bring that head down? Floyd Has the tools to win. PAC has the tools to win also. We know PAC has a chin and can take multiple shots. We also know that Floyd doesn't get hit clean often but when he does he stumbles and holds on for dear life or he smiles like it don't hurt. What happens if PAC is able to hit Floyd all night?
He called out Pacquiao before the Marquez fight, honestly I think he felt he would have won before and would have foughten Pacquiao had he succumbed to Mayweather's demands. After facing Ortiz or during the training camp I think Floyd Mayweather vastly improved his ability to fight southpaws, he really improved his distance, footwork, and angles compared to the judah or any of his other fights against southpaws, he fully transfered his effectiveness vs orthodox opponents to facing southpaws. I truly believe Manny is more dangerous now than ever, but that all of his advancements technically and as a fighter in general won't matter against Floyd. It will be a really interesting fight and the fight that Floyd would have the highest chance to lose by far, but that's still pretty slim odds for Pacquiao IMO. And I really love everything he does in the ring. His balance, footwork, and defense have improved so much, but he still takes terrible lines coming in, always shooting up the middle even when he gets the outside angle.
Pardon me... just an opinion.... Floyd Jr. signs, he gets knocked-the-eff-out into an early retirement and for good! ;)
Your post was all good until then:). Floyds fought better boxers already, maybe not fought a more explosive or erratic mover though. If Pac comes in hot and firing,Floyd may get caught by a few shots on the end of some combos from unexpected angles, but only early on when Manny is fresh. Distances, interruption control and timing are usually Floyds game. Manny has speed power and the unexpected. Should be fun for us to watch if they engage at every distance. Floyd could spoil it too if he gets threatened early and not finished.
Most of Pacquiao's big power comes from people not seeing his punches coming in. THe reason Marquez could deal with Pacquiao's power so much better than all those bigger guys is because he realized that to control Pacquiao's movement takes away his angles. Mosley slowed just enough that he didn't have reflexes to move with Pacquaio's punches and he got hurt because he wasn't reacting to the punches properly. Cotto only got really hurt by punches when they were coming from angles he couldn't see. Mayweather will have Pacquiao on a string, and I don't think he will just potshot Manny. I think he will start off as he did against Ortiz and as he established range against Pacquiao then he will begin going to the body and throwing more combinations, backing Manny up.
Anybody who thinks Manny has less of a chance now then at any point in the last 3 years actually knows little about boxing. You watch how much Manny has improved recently. I think he has a better chance now than after he faced Cotto. That version of Manny I would give no chance against Floyd.

Well what I'm saying is what if both boxers actually use there skills to 100%. Will manny get in the ring and let Floyd tee off on him? When is the last time Floyd has been in a war? Can he handle someone coming out trying to knock his head off every round. Manny has had some wars and won. Yes Floyd has been winning but who is the last opponent that gave Floyd trouble? Augustus? I want to see both fighters go at it. Floyd using boxing skills. PAC using angles and speed. What will happen.
If this fight get's signed, i bet it'll be contracted at some daft weight like 144lbs or some shit.
and i remember perfectly how he sided with Pacquiao in the the controversial fight 1 when Arum was still promoting Marquez ang Pac was with Murad.
he said
"How can a guy get knocked down 3 times and still not lose?" - Floyd 2004
it was a stab at Arum.
People must know their history to be able to interpret bullshits of the present :D
I dont think FLoyd did improve his skills in fighting southpaws when he fought Ortiz. Ortiz was able to pin him several times and was able to give Floyd bruises like he never had before in a fight. And considering Ortiz is not fast or quick enough and was still able to land good punches on Floyd will make you conclude that Floyd truly has problems dodging a southpaw punch. Yes, Floyd was equally hitting Ortiz with clean shots, but Floyd showing signs of defensive slack is very serious because he founded his boxing career as a defensive wiz. If Ortiz was able to pin him that much, what about VS a punching machine such as Pac?
Floyd knows nows the time to fight Pac because he knows pac is slowing down with his age. The Marquez fight gives him hope that he truly can beat the guy with the right game plan, pac wasnt able to show his dominating style vs JMM and that must just be what Floyd wants to see.
Also, Floyd thinks that aside from Pac, other potential fight will not be as easy as they seems to be. He knows he's getting older and slower too (observe Ortiz). So from here on, each fight aside from pac can be considered High-risk, low reward fights -- something that he cant afford to take.
As for Pac, he considering the same thing actually. If the fight has to happen, it should happen next year.
So basically both guys are thinking about the final chapter on their careers. And they think that to put each others names on that chapter will the best ending there is. History is written by the victors, who will be writing Floyd-pac history then? Us FANS of course.
I can't help but feel that Pac wasn't able to look dominate against Marquez cause he had to much respect for him. You could say he was a little scared of going in because he knew what Marquez was capable of from their Previous 2 encounters. It was a Mix of him looking for a Knockout , Marquez's style and Pacquiao's Respect for Marquez that made Pacquiao look bad in that fight.
The fight will play out the same as it would have done when the negotiations first started. Interesting first four rounds then Floyd takes over and wins by UD.
So he is nervous about goin in against marquez but he wouldnt be against floyd? Sorry but manny will not be goin balls to the wall against floyd. He has a problem with boxers period, but suddenly he is goin to figure out the best boxer on the planet in the biggest fight of his career on the biggest stage hes ever fought on. Sorry but those chances are slim.
*yawwnnnn*
Both parties sign the contract or shut up forever.
I hope the fight does not happen now after all the stalling. I hope Manny fights JMM and Floyd is forced to fight at light middle because that is the only challenge out there for him. Knowing Floyd, he will try and stay at welterweight and take an easier option.
Wow, what a suprise. As soon as Mayweathers opponent looks sh*t in a fight and starts to slow down as a fighter he jumps in for the kill. Im starting to believe all the ducking opponents at there prime stories now. Yhis fight should have happened years ago. I would much rather see a Marquez vs Mayweather 2 than see him fight a weakened pac.
