War the boz!!!! (Povetkin - Boswell/Helenius - Chisora)

I've beeing pulling for the Boz to get a shot at a title for a while now and he finally has his chance. He must understand that a win over Povetkin catapults him onto the heavyweight scene big-time. It almost guarantees him a fight with a Klitschko. He's the underdog in this one; make no mistake about it. However, I'll be rooting for him to bring the belt back to the States. WAR BOZ.

I know nothing about the guy. Does he actually have a chance vs Povetkin?

Can't believe he still only has one loss. Seems like ages ago that Jameel McCline stopped him. He was on his way to winning that fight too.

On occasion and the Boz is an old man in the game now at 42, but like someone said, he only has one loss against McCline and he was close to winning that one before he was stopped. If he loses this, it will likely be the only title shot he gets so I imagine he goes out there and fights his arse off.

That's about it man...I can't find anything, not even when he got stopped by McCline.

He's a big guy and former perennial heavyweight contender from the late 90's early 2000's. He was in some good action fights as I remember and could punch and box a bit.

But, now he is apparently 42 years old so who knows.

He used to be pretty good, a bit better than Lawrence Clay Bey but not as good as an in shape Hasim Rahman.

Povetkin will dominate! Maybe not a stoppage but it will be a one sided victory

Well, the oddsmakers and his matchmakers think the same thing. I wish I could get my hands on some footage of Boswell. I recall he was beating McCline and tired out before getting Ko'd in the final round. He Ko'd rising prospect Roman Greenberg a couple of years back and recently beat Oliver McCall. My issue is that Povetkin is an athletic dude and he is liable to take the Boz to later rounds. At 42, can the Boz hang? Yet, I also think he's a cagey veteran who can box a bit and has a solid jab, which may give Povetkin problems. I may take the over here, directly in contrast to Lyle.

Hard not to cheer for a guy that comes to the ring to Sam Cooke.

Anyone else watching this?

Boswell is getting tired and starting to get clocked pretty good. Is the Helenius fight after this?

BOswell is done here. This is over next round.

Too bad, he was doing quite well early on.

Damn stream got all choppy at right at the knockout but the replay looks pretty brutal.

Povetkin needs to stay far, far away from any top 5 heavy. He has a lot of work to do.

I would assume so. Should be a decent scrap.

Chisora started off really well, and it's nice to see him in decent shape, but he was hurt by the first punch Helenius landed.

Helenius punches at glacial speed. So slow.

This ref is a joke.

Chisora is doing pretty well. He's caught Helenius with a few punches that seem to at least have some effect on him.

This is one of the worst reffing jobs I have ever seen.

Chisora is dominating the fight so far. Helenius is just too slow.

When Helenius lands he bothers Chisora, but Chisora isn't letting him get off.

The body-shots are clearly bothering Helenius too.

I can almost guarantee that this ref will take a point from Chisora at some point

Saurerland has it 5 - 1 Helenius :o

Robbery on the way if Chisora doesn't stop him.

8th was his best round

7-2 Chisora, Helenius looks like he didn't even train.

Id say at this point if del boy loses on points its the worst decision i can remember

8-2. Helenius won't make it to the final bell. Chisora needs to pour it on, because everything indicates that he won't be getting a decision.
