Not read this in full yet as internet playing up at work and the page keeps crashing - but had seen some tweets from Khan.
I really do wish he would stop moaning. It is pretty fucking far from the worse decision in boxing history ffs and he knew himself it was close

i agree. i like khan but when i was watching it i fealt like he was running away in the last few rounds. did not look like the champ one bit. it couldnt even be classed as evasive backfoot boxing. if it was a 15 round fight khan wouldve been ko'd. i hadnt seen alot of peterson beforehand but im know a fan. he deserved it fully. khan needs to stop talking hit the gym and fight kell brook
it is getting a bit desperate
having said that i'd like to know what is going on here
i may have to watch the fight again to decide who i thought won, it was late when i watched it first time and id had a few beers and i didnt score it, i did think it was close tho and i thought with the deductions the result was acceptable
obviously the deductions were very dodgy
I'm going to delete him off Facebook. I had to put up with update after update about him moaning about the Peterson fight. I wouldn't mind but Facebook filter out all the important statuses...like how windy it is and how people can't wait for the weekend.Quote:

Interesting. I guess that will teach him for fighting in the other guys backyard. Regardless who the guy in the hat was a neutral observer can watch the fight and see that Peterson probably deserved to win anyway. He was just the better fighter and made it his type of fight. Kahn ran and held abit too much.
He can win a rematch though just needs to ditch Roach and learn to fight on the inside.

I agree. Move on or earn a rematch and prove it in the ring. The fight was close any way you look at it even without the deductions. I thought the deductions were a bit bogus and the referree was clearly biased but Khan should have changed tactics after the first deduction. As someone else said, he can learn from to fight inside better. Funny thing, Khan never accepted a rematch with Prescott for a variety of reasons. I wonder how it feels to be on the other side of the fence.

Not defending him, but clearly something is not right. It was a close fight, but there is something fishy going on with those scores.
That said, how could they have fiddled it if Khan had actually dominated all 12 rounds instead of allowing it to be close.
The article is interesting though, people should at least look at the evidence before slagging Khan off.

He's still going on about it, seen him being interviewed a few times and its the only thing he mentions and thinks it wasn't even a close fight. One ringside a few weeks back he said he had watched the fight atleast 5 times and thinks he won easy and was robbed. Even Jim Watt who always favors british fighters had him losing after the point deductions. The man needs to shut up n sort his boxing out.
I thought khan lost the fight ran to much, cotto fought margarito on the back foot then watch the khan fight he ran without throwing punches.

He does need telling. I'm tolerant and he's even annoying me with it now. He should have just been more decisive in the ring. What he's not realising is, that he shouldn't really even be in close fights with guys like Peterson if he's got any aspirations of leaving a lasting legacy, so the even if he managed to get the fight scored as a NC, we still all saw the fight and we still saw where he is vulnerable, and we still saw that he's nowhere near ready for that next level.Quote:

It was in his own hands to make it more decisive.
Peterson was chosen because Khan & Roach underestimated him, and thought it would be a relatively easy fight. That was the first mistake, the 2nd mistake was taking the fight in DC, in front of Peterson's homies, dumb fucking move.
So Khan ends up losing a close decision and being the douche that he is, instead of taking it like a man, he continues whining about it. I hope Peterson takes his sweet time giving Khan a rematch. :)

He has given his enemies and haters far too much ammunition over this. Very badly handled.
Petersen won that fight by being in Khan's face throughout the twelve rounds and when he was about to be overpowered by Khan, he surprised him not only with head movement but counterpunches as well. He didn't let Khan breath and forced Khan to push him off and get foul deductions. He lost and as for the mystery man who cares. He was not in the ring and probably just bullied his way to a better seat. Enough with the conspiracy theories because Khan's bitchng and moaning is over the edge.

I thought Khan was one round up but with the points deductions he went one round down. No doubt it was a very close fight, it wasn't a robbery. I do feel the points deductions and this man interfering with the scoring has been a factor in it all. As I said before they just need a straight up rematch on neutral grounds and we will see who's the winner then.
Agree mate personally a think if thers a rematch khan wins comfortably.a also thinj he lost the last fight due to him not sticking to the game plan.with all this moaning and appeals he is risking even getting the rematch straight away. He needs to shut it and focus himself on boxing

its a good move by khan in a lot of ways because if something isnt done about it then whats gonna happen at every major fight from now on? they need a very very good explanation

Interesting to hear that Roach is putting Peterson name in the Pacman sweepstakes. Knowing his fighter in Khan wants the rematch.
Peterson should talk JMM and even Mayweather. He surely can get the same money fighting either.
