Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
Justin Bieber: I'm A Pretty Good Boxer | ThePostGame
His Dad was a "great fighter" and Justin and his friend's "box all the time".
Thus he is a pretty good boxer. I'd put him up against our VD. Now that would be a WAR. ;D
Thoughts ?
I think it takes a lot of balls to call oneself a "pretty good boxer" when you've never had an amateur fight :p

Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
It gets better...
ED So, let’s say that Mayweather wants to be better than Ali, right?
JB Yeah.
ED You can’t ever really compare someone to Ali, because he’s an icon. Michael’s an icon. So no matter what Mayweather does, no matter how many people he beats, or how long he stays a champ, or if he retires or is defeated, do you think that people can ever really compare or ever say Mayweather was better than Ali?
JB It’s different. First of all, Ali was in a different weight class, so it’s completely different. But I think it’s about making himself just as big. I mean, Michael Jackson looked up to James Brown. James Brown was an icon. And I would consider Michael Jackson bigger than James Brown. If Mayweather goes another three, four fights, and wins? Muhammad Ali lost. Mayweather has never lost in his whole career. He is like 35 years old. He hasn’t lost and people don’t give him that respect.
ED Do you box?
JB Yeah, I box. Me and my friends box all the time. My dad is a fighter so he taught me some stuff growing up, and he’s a great fighter, so I’m a pretty good boxer. Here, I want to show you something.
Justin pulls up the video on his phone. He and his friend circle each other in the ring, while “Eye of the Tiger” plays in the background, Jaden Smith playing referee. The bell goes off. And Bieber starts swinging. ;D:vd:
-
LOL at the last paragraph!! Just like Rocky 3.."You wanna ring the bell JB? Ding Ding!"
I think JB is way too young to fully appreciate the impact Muhamad Ali had (heck i am too at 27)..he was the Michael Jackson of boxing. He had everything..charisma, controversy, an amazing boxer with a brilliant CV that likely won't be replicated. Mayweather will never transcend the world over like Ali did. He hasn't got the personality or many of the other traits, in fact.
There will never be another Ali. For me, truly the greatest of all time. Nobody comes close to being the total package that Ali was in and out of the ring imo

Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
He should stick to looking gay and to his mic rather than talking boxing.
-
Is this the kid who is making a dubstep album because that's what people want to hear? He needs to grow some pubes, seriously.
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
What a little toss pot. I hate Justin Bieber and it is a shame Michael Jackson isn't around to molest him.
I bet Bilbo has all his albums.
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
Mind you Bieber would have a fair shot at beating up on Kid Thunder.
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
You guys are being too hard on Beiber. I have a grudging respect for him. I doubt there is another 18 year old on the planet who has fucked such a succession of stunningly hot girls than he has, whilst managing to both simultaneously cheat on them with young fans he gets pregnant in arena toilets and yet somehow remain a virgin for contractually obliged commercial reasons.
The kid is lying about his entire lifestyle and being yet people still get worked up because he doesn't fully understand the importance of a boxer who retired about 20 years before he was even born.

Somehow I knew you would defend him Bilbo ;D
Its not his ignoramus view on boxing history, but his bragging of his own boxing accolades that I think most find laughable.

Agree - I'll never listen to his music but hey he's doin his thing and as long as the public keep buying his shit he aint going nowhere. At 18 he's made 10x over..can't hate on that
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
my 9 yr old cousin who's in his 3rd year of learning how to box would kick Bieber's ass lol
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
He should stick do things he's good at, like singing shite songs and being a faggot rather than talk about boxing.
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
I'm sure i have seen him being interviewed by David haye and he was doing pad work... i can't remember how good he was but do remember thinking he was better than he should be if that makes sense ??? :-\

Thanks for sharing the link.
Bieber has a decent jab for a guy who doesn't know if he's orthodox or southpaw ;D
Better than I thought. But not a "pretty good boxer" quite yet.
Fuckin David Haye such a charmer that one...;D
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
My respect for Justin beiber (which was minus 100 ;D ) has just gone up marginally...who knew he would actually know who floyd mayweather is...being as much as a poof as he is this is surprising ;D

Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
I gotta say the troublesome aspect of this whole thread is not what Bieber thinks about Ali or Floyd, but rather why was the OP reading Justin Bieber interviews?
It's kind of like on IMDb when a middle aged adult male writes a scathing review of the latest Bratz girls movie thinking himself really clever for dissecting the weak plot and lame script not realising everyone reading is thinking 'hang on you oddball, you are a 47 year old man, why the fuck did you go.to the cinema to watch a movie aimed at 7 year old girls????'
Just sayin...

"Just sayin" it was on the Yahoo! homepage. I know this may come as a shock to you Bilbo, but there's this website called Yahoo! and it has about 4-6 main news stories on the homepage at all times.
This was one of the stories.
So I clicked on it and read about it being a boxing fan and being skeptical about Bieber being any sort of serious boxer.
Nice try undermining me again though and generally being a snake.
Sorry to disapoint you.
That said, I have no doubt Bieber would whip your ass in a New York minute. ;D;)

That's just it we have never met. You sit behind a keyboard and are a little negative nancy smart alec one minute and sweet kind little Bilbo the next.
I doubt you would say these things in person.
In the states we give each other as much if not more shit than any where else.
And that's fine if we are friends and/or you are being sarcastic.
We aren't and you weren't. You were being serious and a little jerk.
If you don't like the thread or find it entertaining or whatever then don't read it or post in it. Simple as that dear hobbit.

I am never serious. The problem probably lies in the fact that as a man of subtle humour I refuse to use emoticons and smilies as they are the property of simpletons and fools, the kind of people who like their comedy shows to have a canned laughter track.
Miles is the same. A brilliant man, very funny, but too articulate to use smilies. So he sometimes gets misunderstood too.
But anyway, I have never been serious or deliberately nasty towards you. It's just good natured windup my friend. Remember that the gay thread Eric put up about you was a result of your own thread that you put up about Joe Goosen. You have to be able to take what you dish out.
Same with this thread. A man posts on here that he has been reading Bieber interviews, that man deserves some shit.

He is not that good and he does not look 18.

Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
I would pay good money to see Bilbo vs Justin Bieber. I'd probably put Bilbo as a slight outsider, but it really would be a close call. The amount of lusting after teenage girls from these two would be very significant though.
Maybe on the undercard we could see VD vs Lil Bow Wow and Cut Me Mick vs Shannon Briggs?

I would happily take a bribe to go down in the first. About 50 dollars would seal it. And maybe a sniff of his fingers after he's spent an evening with one of those Latino honey's he's so keen on.

Sniffing a boy's fingers is very gay.

Disturbing would have been wanting to suck his fingers.
I would only have wanted to do that had he just been with that gorgeous ex girlfriend who sang the anthem for Manny Pacquiao, I think in the Mosely fight.
Under such circumstances it would definitely not be disturbing or gay.

Can I just say that him saying he's a boxer is a joke... Let alone a 'pretty good one'.
That being said... The hate he gets is ludicrous... He's worth more than anybody here and he's no doubt had more girls throw themselves at him at his age than anybody here did or probably even has by now.
Anybody wouldn't have wanted some of that at his age is bullshitting or gay.
So yeah... Only natural he gets so much hate, more power to him I say.
None of you at 16 would turn down the fame and perks that come with it...
As long as he enjoys the ride I don't see the problem. Deep down I'm sure he knows he's talentless and very, very lucky.
Kid can't box for shit though

You say the magic word there: 'worth'. Most people have shagged numerous women, earned a decent living and all without dancing like a cretin and having a silly hairdo and singing god awful bollocks for music. The man sold his soul at 10. He will be dead by 30 after molesting a million dead teens.
Would you honestly want to be Justin Beiber for even a moment of your life? I would happily eschew all those fat, western teenage Mum's for the chance not to be Justin Beiber.
That isn't hate. It's called suggesting that Justin Beiber is a Christian.
-
Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
Would I want to be him? Not really, but the jealousy coming from these people who go way overboard with slating him is obvious.
Being a content adult I'm not bothered or threatened either way by him, hence the fact I don't post disgusting rants about a child.
Oh and as for 'fat westerners', we all know how skewed your views and standards on 'fat' are. :)

Re: Justin Bieber: "I'm a pretty good boxer."
God, I despise JB.
Not because of jealousy or any of that other horseshit that morons use to fight off the 'haters.'
I hate Justin Bieber because the guy has done nothing. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He's a straight up retard. He's not funny. He can't sing. He can't box. He can't do anything.
I hate Lil' Wayne for the same reason. The moron couldn't write a legible song on his soberest day.
Why do not loathe these terrible excuses for people?

They've been stupidly lucky, we haven't, that's life, boo hoo. The only reason these people affect you in any way is because you allow them to upset you and that my friend, is truely idiotic.

I don't follow lumping in Wayne with Justin Bieber. At all. Yes, Wayne's poppier stuff recently has been whatever. But the guy is obviously talented. He's not the next Jay-Z or the second coming of Biggie but he's a smarter, wittier lyricist than, say, Kanye West.
