Yea, Ricky Burns is the worst..
Oh that's right I forgot. Burns is not a champ. He's an " interim " paper title holder. Lol
Joe Calzaghe....fuck him
but also Enzo Mac was once a Wbo "world" champ..
Erm..Gavis Rees..(jeez i'm picking on the Welsh aren't I?)
Junior Witter but he seemed to be gaining momentum until Bradley beat him. Then it was all down hill.
Herbie Hide? Just too light and chinny to be heavy..
Frank bruno :vd:
None of those mentioned were the worst as they were all clearly better than domestic level
Also frank bruno is the best heavyweight that ever lived
Any other ideas?
Tyson Fury or Scott Welch
Ugh, my mistake..I thought you meant British World champs.
Actually struggling with this one..most British champs I can think of kinda belonged there.
Worst British champions are as follows.
Kevin Pritchard
Suger Gibiliru
These two held the British Super Feather title during a period were the title was cursed and nobody could defend it , for years each champ would win against the odds then lose in their first defence.
These two were average journey men.
long reigning champ??? HE BEAT FUCKING M'baye who had just picked up the vacant strap against Balbi and then drew against Kotelnyk, M'baye is 1-2-1 in World Title fights, hardly impressive, as for Rees only having one loss it was against Kotelnyk and he was KTFO by a fighter who has close to 0 power, he hasn't gone on to lose again cause all he's fought are local bums, hell 4 of his "wins" since the KO loss were on fucking Prizefighter, if you go from "World Champ" to fighting on a rinky dink tourney like Prizefighter it means either A) you've hit rock bottom or B) you never were that good
ill be honest al, i dont remember either of them
when were they champs?
they dont sound like the best looking at their records, i cant think of any with a worst record (chris edwards maybe?)
if it was early 90s i was at university, no internet, no sky tv, the only boxing i got to watch was that what channels 1 to 4 fed me which was usually on at weekends and at weekends i was more interested in student girls and their breasts, them were the days
by the way Al, I'm fighting at the willows in salford a week on friday, £20 a ticket, 10 bouts including a female fight, why dont you get yourself down
you can also pay £50 and you get a meal
