I find this a very interesting matchup. I look forward to seeing if Bisping can stop any t/d and how he works off his back. I win either way because I'd love to see both these guys fight and I'd love to see either of them with the strap. But I do see Chael getting the win here. Really excited for this one though!
Oh fucking awesome. Chael is my favourite UFC fighter along with Frank Mir and I was a bit worried about him going in with Munoz.
I can't wait to see him stick Bisping on his ass though. I hope he pounds and humiliates Michael Bisping, he's a total douche and I can@t wait to see him beaten down.
I know Bisping has been on a good run but he's only fought nobodies. He's so far out of his depth here, he's going to get smashed.
The only guy I'd have enjoyed Sonnen pounding on more would have been Wanderlei Silva. Hell thinking about it, maybe Bisping is even better than that.

This is good news for Sonnen fans/Bisping haters.
I see it as a total mismatch.
Bisping is sorely lacking in the skills to prevent the takedown from Chael.
Sonnen is going to dominate him.
Brian Stann was a good deal better fighter than Bisping and Sonnen ran right over him.

Well the Bisping crowd is getting the top contender they wanted. Mike will come in well prepared but I just don't see him dictating where this fight happens and ultimately will lose a wide UD or get pounded out/submitted late.
Bisping has a good ground game and better t/d defence than Stann. Lets be honest the only reason Stann come onto the scene and was hyped up is because he was a marine.Quote:

My younger brother on the other hand loves mma and has trained for the past 2 years in BJJ and will be getting his blue belt tomorrow.
We train at Sonora MMA, a sister gym to Oakdale MMA which the UFC's own Michael McDonald trains out of.
I even sparred the kid couple years ago, and got my butt kicked ;D He's a fast little bastard.
Anyway my point being Mattboxingfan that I'm as qualified as anyone to talk about MMA yet I don't pretend to know it all or insult the other posters about their mma opinions.
You are usually a cool poster here and keep the MMA section of the board interesting, but other times you can be a real mma snob.

I have trained at an MMA gym since 2007, its all thats up here where I live so I've had to box at an MMA gym. Even tried mma for a while, BJJ and kickboxing anyway, wasn't to my liking.
My younger brother on the other hand loves mma and has trained for the past 2 years in BJJ and will be getting his blue belt tomorrow.
We train at Sonora MMA, a sister gym to Oakdale MMA which the UFC's own Michael McDonald trains out of.
I even sparred the kid couple years ago, and got my butt kicked ;D He's a fast little bastard.
Anyway my point being Mattboxingfan that I'm as qualified as anyone to talk about MMA yet I don't pretend to know it all or insult the other posters about their mma opinions.
You are usually a cool poster here and keep the MMA section of the board interesting, but other times you can be a real mma snob.
Your might be mixing up how i respond to mattyhitman with how i respond to everyone else. He gets special treatment and extra abuse and i will fight to the end with any argument against him. Don't judge me on my responses to him..
I should imagine its hard to judge someone over the internet? How i write it in a post and how you read it may be two different things you can't really do anything about that.
Any specific posts that your referring to?

Just irked me a little when you seemed to be correcting everyone, namely myself on the nature of the Bisping vs. Leben fight and corrected me on the exact month of when it took place.

I believe Bisping had a clear cut win over Leben so i was just arguing my point. You said you watched it around new year and i knew it wasn't then so i just stated a fact didn't realise it made me a MMA snob, ha ;D facts are facts couldn't change that if i wanted too!
If your going to challenge a fighter i like i'll going to oppose your point and argue against i'd expect you to do the same.
