FNF fight thread -January 27th

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
That Asian/Russian is a tough character if thats who I'm thinking of.
And I actually like Teddy Atlas despite his tendency to ramble on.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Ruslan and Ji Hun make this a good espn2 card. I'm looking forward to it.

Yup, should be worth watching, the card starts in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, i'm havin' a couple beers tonight, I spent most of the day raking & burning leaves, time to chill and watch some fuckin' boxing. :drinker: Michelob Marzen, a decent domestic beer. ;)

I like Teddy well enough, even if he is as full of shit as a christmas turkey. :-X
And yeah, Ruslan has been on FNF several times, he's entertaining.

switch to a Miller/Coors product. My best friend has worked there in the lab for over a decade and I try to encourage all to support his endeavors. Drink some coors/miller products.

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Alrighty, Teddy and Joe calling the action, Vince Vaughn, is the special guest, 1st up, Ji-Hoon Kim vs. Yakubu Amidu.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Good Evening Gentlemen. :wavey:
I hope we have some good fights tonight.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
good card. We have Vince Vaughn in the house again as he manages one of the fighters. He was on one of the last card's last year as he managed a fighter (not sure if it is the same fighter).
Wouldn't it be great if Vince Vaughn had a fighter that became a star!!!!!

Coors and Coors light used to be a favorite of mine, back in the day, i'd guzzle the stuff, if I could find it, i'd like to buy a case of reg Coors Quarts (32 Oz) that's great after mowing the grass in the summer time.
cheers capt.

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
cheers to you as well. Solid FNF card, then Bill Maher on HBO. a few beers and not a bad friday.
If someone taught Kim any defense it would be good for him (and bad for us viewers).

Cheers gents and ladies...Dear God Vince vaughn looks a thousand years old :-X Good to see Provo again. I don't think he goes far in ranks but I wouldn't say that to him in close confines.

Cheers Diane, Amidu is figgin' to get knocked out, he seems to have no defense.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Amidu has that turkey wishbone stance thing going on like Jermaine taylor, but not nearly as steady:-X
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Kim is going to KO Amidu. When you face Kim, if you have some defense, you can make him miss and do damage. But you have to make Kim miss!!!!
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Defense wise Kim looks like Pep compared to Amidu, catching clean clean fugly shots

I'm a little surprised Amidu is still hanging in there.

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Good opening fight, the main should be good as well.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
ESPN does a pretty good job with their limited budget. Great job matching 2 guys that are game and don't show alot of defense. When we tune into FNF this is the type of fights we want to see.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Amidu trying to fight his way through some tough spots. Without scoring the fight, it appears to me that Kim can take Amidu's best shots but Amidu has been wobbled slightly/stunned by Kim's best shots, 3 or 4 times.

Well I rarely drink, and I mean rarely, but when I do drink, I drink. Hey, I was in Vegas, and I was playing blackjack with 3 good looking guys, who just happened to want to keep doing shots. What's a girl to do. ;D

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
anyone scoring this bout? I'm not but I would guess that I would have scored at least 5 rounds for Kim thru 8, if not more.
Someone at some point should have tuahgt Amidu to take a step to the side instead of straight back. Going straight back is horrible, yet so many fighters do it.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
2 point deduction from Teddy...the Raiders jacket
Amidu has found life, Kim is evolving but playing with fire a bit. This guy is way to hittable (Amidu) to still be upright I believe. Tough but early on he was wearing roller skates.
-
Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
I could see Dawson and Berto winning their rematches.

Hard pressed to think of a guy standing as tall during and after getting off but still there. Looks like a T-ball stand

Evening bitches and Diane.
How the hell is everyone?

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
According to Sports Nation, 57% have no interest in the Dawson-Hop rematch.. lmfao
They better not put this shit on PPV, I read somewhere the 1st fight was a PPV bust.

The styles don't match up. When was the last time B-Hop was in a good looking fight??? I've yet to see one. At one point in time I figured Chad Dawson would be a sure thing as a dominant champion, never going to happen now.
Tavoris Cloud = the truth at 175!
I've never been a Provodnikov fan. Good action fighter, but I'm not a fan...I don't see whats so great about him. To me he's just Leo Dorin on steroids.

Re: FNF fight thread -January 27th
Ruslan with Roach won't change anything.
