How cold is it in this country? Freezing my nuts off riding my bike and getting to work in the morning. Freezing in bed, my central heating bill is going to be huge. Come back mild winter please! :(

Car said it was -1 this morning, but weirdly didn't have to de-ice the car.

I don't scrape anyway, I'm too lazy for that. Just spray a load of antifreeze on it, job done. Failing that some warm water.
Very true about needing a piss. Opened the back door to grab the bin tonight, instant piss needed.

It's got to be a bit warmer than mildly warm or else it will freeze up again. Tough call between risking a cracked windscreen or an ice sheet on the motorway. I tend to try my luck and have it pretty hot.Quote:

Cold here too. It was -16'C last night. The snow has turned to ice and the other day I witnessed a car do a 360' turn on ice. I drove home at 30km an hour after that and it took me hours. I don't know how I made it back alive. Never again.
Well I was surprised to read that apparently a huge part of europe is having record lows and what not and dozens of people died in the ukraine and elsewhere. Reason I say surprised because a whole lot of places in the us are having record highs for this time of year, it was in the 60's here today, and that doesn't happen often...so I guess y'all ended up with all the cold this year
Yeah its cold... I have my cigarettes outside and it might help me to pack in again.
saying that it could be worse as its -46 in Russia :o all the homeless are dying so the government have been putting coal out and burning it on the streets so they can keep warm :-\

I went out thinking it was fine, but got caught in snow and within an hour it was an inch thick on the ground. I ventured on and got home in the end but saw accidents and was skating on ice at 30 km phr all the way home with idiots skating past me easily able to have an accident. I should have stayed home.
