Door have just opened in Braehead Arena.
I think this will be a tougher fight than some are expecting for Ricky Burns. Moses is a genuine world class fighter and must rank up there with Martinez and Katsidis as Burns best opponents.
My gut feeling is Burns wins a tight one with scores floting around 115-113 or a wee bit wider at 116-112

Can a mod make this a sticky. I am not going to score but I am sure fightscorecollecter and everyone will agree it's pointless having two threads covering the same fight card. Simmons is quite fast for a big guy and good feet for a three fight novice.

Just tuning in now. Personally I reckon that Burns should have enough to win, but Moses has some decent pedigree. A good win and Burns is looking good for a big fight in the summer.

i'm from the states. I've seen Burns fight only about 5 times.
He looks much sturdier and stronger at 135 than he did at 130.

Well I have it even, 3-3. Most of Burns real flashy shots are landing below the belt, he's really not making much clean contact. Moses needs to be a little more active to make these rounds more decisive but I think he's landing the better punches right now.

Good fight for Ricky on the whole. I had him winning 8-4, but a few of those were tight, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a 118-110 coming up on the cards.
Good feet, good jab, good combinations, good defence,excellent conditioning, and still people won't give him credit. Burns is quality.
I scored it 9-3 for Burns.
