I hope Dewey Bozella, gets some serious compensation for the 26 years he lost.
Cheers Dewey..

Have to love double headers. Time to crank up the wide screen and piss off the neighbors with the patio speakers :-X Wheres my Stein!
-
Here's hoping RJJ has a great debut as a trainer! Holt used to be a very solid prospect, he was found lacking at the highest level, but hopefully he can reignite his career.

Damn right break out the beer!
Tolmajyan is the agressor in this one, and looks to be the better man.
Where the fuck did RJJ come from? :peeker:

Yeah, Holt was Champion for a while, he's one of those guys who can look great in one fight, and look like shit in the next one.. Holt does have some serious power, when he can connect with it.

R. Lee Ermey advertising for Victory Motorcycles, interesting, puts his heart in everything he does, doesn't he. Just like a fucking Marine. ;)

Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Lopez got the nod? WTF, I thought Tolmajyan clearly won that.

I long ago stopped trying to understand boxing scores. Blatant corruption was the only thing I found.

Thinking this one explodes within a few rounds...tops.

I thought Tolmajyan won 5 or 6 rounds, go figure.
What do you think about RJJ training Holt?

Me? I dunno, I think that Holt is what he is at this point. He's a good, but not great fighter and I don't think that RJJ is going to change that.

Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Garbage performance by Coleman.

That's what i'm thinking, I don't see Jones Jr. making some huge difference.

Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Khan vs. Peterson II, May 19th on HBO, who you guys got?
I'll go with Khan this time.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Morales vs. Serrano, this might be ESPN's best fight, is that a skirt Serrano is wearing? :shakehead:
-
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Serrano should lose a point for that Sid vicious meets Beiber haircut and the Christmas leotard
I think Peterson can take the win in rematch. Where is it happening?

Morales doesn't seem impressed with Serrano's attire and "do".
In Vegas, May 19th, i'd like to see Lamont win again, but me head tells me Khan.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Oh God. Hank Lundy :looroll:
Morales up 4-0 here. Serrano needs a gun.

Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
SHOBOX fights come on in about 10 minutes or @11:00 PM ET.
If nothing else you get boxing news on these FNFs, and there might be some good scraps on Showtime tonight.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Caspino and Gerbil Farhood calling the action on SHOBOX, 1st up, Randy Caballero vs. Jose Luis Araiza, 10 rounds, junior featherweights.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
I remember Caballero now, he looks like he's about 13 years old, but the kid can bang.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
I think everyone fell asleep... lmao..
Night all, see you tomorrow night for Macklin -Martinez.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
This should be good..um quick! Figuerora looks ten years old and is on his way to mugging Ayala
Collectively this is the third fight tonight on different cards they say a commission let a guy come in overweight with 20% purse penalty....I say make it 50% , this shits getting out of control in the sport and should not be allowed!

I agree, I'm not saying Peterson didn't win the first fight, but let's just say being in his hometown of DC and the ref, definately helped him on the scorecards.
I wouldn't mind seeing Lamont win again in Vegas May 19th, I just don't think he will, another close fight, but this time Khan wins a UD.
Vegas will almost be a neutral venue for this fight, advantage Khan.

This is convoluted, but bear with me.
I thought that Peterson won the first fight, but I vehemently disagree with the way he won. I scored the fight for Peterson, but both point-deductions, which literally won him the fight, were complete bullshit.
So even though I thought he lost, I feel like Khan deserved the victory.

Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Was pondering Jones jr as a trainer for Holt now. We know Holt is already rounded, not alot Jones can tack onto him physically.
So as for a mental edge and a Psyche benefit I'm not sure how effective he'd be there either. He's still convinced he can be a factor and win a meaningful fight...not sure if thats more helpful or harmful to a guy who himself has been knocked around a bit in Holt ?
Hey if it keeps Roy out of the ring, thats a win I spose.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF thread for March 16 - Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
I think Holt did well, he has a wicked left hook and did what he had to do in there, which was take out the poodle. Roy Jones is a legend, I would be honoured to have him in my corner. Does not matter what he said, the fact that he is there, says it all.
