Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
I think a Hagler-Hearns rematch would've been really interesting, had Sugar Ray not come out of retirement to fight Marvin. Hearns bounced back very well aside from the Barkley upset, in which he still looked a beast while it lasted.. Maybe fighting that way would've always been his downfall against Hagler, but I think he would've had a great chance to outbox him if he was smart. Funny that Hagler probably came out of their fight the worse for wear, he took a lot of punishment against Mugabi as well after that and obviously there was the way he started against Leonard.

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
Lennox-Vitali. One that didn't end on a cut. It had already been a hell of a HW fight. I miss those days.

They only felt like gloaded gloves. I just think Vargas forgot to get the license plate of the truck that ran over his ass.

lol pretty sure vargas sat tito on his ass a few times too... On the other hand I wonder if Tito got Bernards license plate? xD

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
De la Hoya vs Tito.. Outclassed Tito ran the last 3 rounds yet 1 judge gave the last round to De la Hoya when he didnt throw a punch?! Trying to not make it obvious? Yup classic Don King.
Tyson vs Douglas
Hamed vs Barrera
Kostya vs Hatton
Hopkins vs Roy Jones in their prime
so many more

He did knock Tito down once (4th round, I think). Hell of a fight... I'd watch it over and over. Hopkins TKO of Tito hurt to be sure. No shame in losing to one of the best MW's in history. Tito did KO Joppy, so I thought he could hang with the middles. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be.

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
you mentioned my main 2 but I wouldn't have minded seeing Hamed Vs Kelly again... I think Kelly had his number and would have beaten him in the rematch.

Naz hater. Fact.
Please nobody respond to the troll.

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
Morrison-Mercer II: Had Tommy BOXED Ray and not tried to KO him it would have been a different fight
Ibeabuchi-Tua II: Because why the fuck not
Wlad-Sanders II: No doubt it would have been a VERY tough fight for Wlad to take right after such a shocking loss and he was in no shape to take it after the loss to Brewster as well, but avenging that loss would have really settled his career down sooner. I think Sanders would have beaten him again if they rushed back to fight him.
Lewis-Vitali II: A Hell of a fight to start with, but imagine if both guys had actually prepared to fight each other instead of Kirk Johnson and Cedric Boswell. The eye healed up just fine, but I think Lennox knew he wasn't getting any younger, because Vitali took everything Lennox threw and Lennox was the one that saw the most trouble, the most NON CUT trouble. 2nd round, Vitali landed a HUGE right cross that had Lewis holding on for dear life.

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
Ali V Foreman (Was Foreman that demoralized?)
Sanchez V Nelson (It would've happened if not for untimely death)
Hagler V Hearns (Such an amazing 3 rounds, maybe Tommy could've turned it around?)
Hagler V Leonard (Strange this didn't happen?)
Chavez V Whitaker (Should've been automatic, worst decision i have seen)
Jones jr V Hopkins (1994) (Hopkins did well in that first fight, 6 months later, who knows?)
DLH V Whitaker (It was close, possibly Sweet Pea's final hurrah?)
DLH V Trinidad (DLH deserved a rematch, he won that fight!)
Klitschko V Lewis (if not for cuts, Lewis was in trouble)
Barrera V Hamed (Only to see Hamed humiliated again!)
-
Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
On principal...Foreman vs Shultz. There are too may. In an off way and because it was guaranteed chaos what about Benn vs Barkley...for that matter Echols vs Brewer. Might get shot here but how about Kostya vs Judah :-X Trinidad vs Oscar...it just should have happened. Oh and once again Chavez vs Randall after that opt out in second fight, immediately, not when Randall was war torn and fresh out of a rehab facility years later.

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
Sonny Liston -v- Leotis Martin.
Martin was the only guy ever to spark Liston properly & it would have been interesting to see if he could have beaten Liston again.

That fight ended Martin's career. He got a detached retina in that match if I remember correctly. Heck of a fight though as Leotis got rocked a few times and then blasted Sonny out.

Foreman was VERY demoralized after the Ali fight. The Ali fight had him doubting his own manliness.
I'd have liked to see a rematch between Foreman and Chuvalo. That fight was stopped too early, and it isn't too crazy to say that Chuvalo stood a decent chance of winning it.

Foreman-Chuvalo II??? Why? Chuvalo's corner stopped the fight

This is a great list. I'd just remove Barrera/Hamed -- though I know you didn't include it for the same reason -- and replace it with Hopkins/Calzaghe -- fan reaction is very mixed on who deserved the first one; although a rematch may well have been just as inconclusive.

I remember watching Morrison get his ears boxed off for a few rounds and shook on the Holyfield-Foreman undercard & thinking..why in the hell does this guy want a Mercer, Morrison didn't have the savy or 'ugly' guile of a Damiani or an ancient occasio, but real glad they put it at stake so early in boths guys careers. Mercer had some underrated depth, a short fat jab and the minute he started boxing Tommy and moving it was really a matter of time. Morrison was sold as a slugger through and through then and he just didn't have the option in his toolbox. Honestly I think had they fought 5 times I'd def pick Mercer for the sweep.

Stating facts to you is like pissing into the wind. It accomplishes nothing.
Tito was made to rewrap his hands before the Hopkins fight as a mind game Hopkins' corner was playing. It worked. There was nothing illegal about the wraps.
End of story. Carry on.

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
it's pretty obvious that he made every attempt to cheat in advance of that fight and had no doubt done so in others before that.
that's why he fought with no confidence and no power and retired soon after being exposed...
end of story indeed!

Re: Rematches that didnt happen that u wish had..
1. JCChavez v F.Randall III (immediately following II, as opposed to after FR was shot).
FR clearly beat JCC in both fights, imo. The decision in the the 2nd and subsequent denial of a rematch goes down as one of the most cruel and cowardly acts in boxing history. I would've like to have seen JCC get his comeuppance or, if I underestimate him, prove me wrong.
2. Duran v Hagler II: This time an epic brawl breaks out.

It was a close fight and probably should've seen a rematch, Hopkins just didn't do enough to beat Joe Balls that night.

Joe Frazier was knocked down a bunch of times. Chuvalo was never knocked down, and was still on his feet with his defense up, waiting for the barrage to end.

Duran v Laing , a peak Duran would flatten him.

Your ignorance on boxing matters is overwhelming.
And your stubbornness in holding on to groundless gibberish is downright pathetic.
Too bad your opinion is but a worthless grain of sand in the beach of public opinion.
In other words, it ain't worth shit.
Carry on.
