This is the article that I have done for the fight, I am looking forward to tomorrow. David Price KO is my pick.
Looking forward to this one, I reckon Price is too big and too strong for Sexton, who was out on his feet against Rogan and has had a few lucky breaks in his career.
Hope Sexton gets sparked early doors, and finally gets himself a big does of humility.
Im gonna go for Price to knock him out in the fifth round. Sexton is good but he has to be able to avoid hard punches all the time and eventually Price will get through with a hard one and will all be downhill from there. The only thing we dont know is how good prices fitness is. If Sexton can take him into the later rounds his fitness may not be great and Sexton if his fitness is good could slowly take him apart. But thats a big if.
Does anybody know when the fight starts? Got the champions league on, anybody wanting Chelsea to lose?
The show starts at 10.30 on Sky, so unless it goes into a really long penalty shoot out, then we should be okay. And now Drogba's conceded a penalty, I doubt it will do.
Cheers, Rhun. Hope Chelsea don't pull it off, if it goes to pens I'm actually leaning towards the rent boys to steal it.
Price KO RD 4 COME ON BAYERN.
Can anyone send me a stream? Thanks in advance, Fellas.
All the streams I'm finding are still showing the football...is it on the same channel of Sky Sports as the boxing?
Ok come on now, Sky, time for boxing.
Unless it's not live. Undercard looks good too.
It's got some undercard results but not the main event on boxrec so far. Makes sense to play it as live though, keeping them waiting would be a pain in the arse.
Looks like they are playing it live, the commentators are all referring to Chelsea. Gonna be a late one for the guys at the venue! Hope Sexton gets smashed early doors.
No undercard spoilers then lads till they've been televised.
Price dominating the first two rounds. Sexton throwing a few flurries, but not enough to get anywhere close to winning a round so far. Some big right hands from Price too.
Class
And boom goes the dynamite.
Sexton went down once at the end of the third, and then goes down again twice in the fourth. Superb stuff from Price. I'm a cynical old coot, but I'm starting to get convinced by Price. Beautiful boxing, great shots and absolutely dominated Sexton as I imagined he would.
Brutal knockout
Everyone goes on about his chin but Price just carries on improving. To bang like that and yet still have the patience to use great boxing skills and fast hands for such a big lad in creating openings is class. European after a couple of British defences me thinks.
Impressed - looks like he's becoming the next Wladimir Klitschko. But has better punch variety and bit more hunger to go for the kill.
I think Maloney has a big role to play, time to progress Price a little more slowly than he wants to move forward. I'm not always the first to buy in to a fighter, but Price is looking like the real deal.
Yeah he looks good and has fast hands for a big fella.
He's in good hands with Franky w.
A mystery man backed Price to stop him inside 4 rounds and stuck 50 grand on it.
TOUCH
Price was dominant last night, sexton had no chance. Price is so big and strong, I dont see anybody giving him trouble for the time being. I hope he moves forward and challengers a top ranked euro fighter, he needs a big challenge now and keep on stopping everyone. I think Price could potentially be a world champion one day. I would love to see Price-Chisora one day, Chisora can take and give a punch and no doubt would be a great fight.
Price looks good but that chin is gonna let him down sooner or later

I can't believe that is the sole evidence of Price having a dodgy chin. I thought the way people had been carrying on that he had been sparked cold out. It's boxing and at any weight but especially heavyweight a decent connection on the chin will rock or knock many good fighters out. There is also the big gulf between amateur and pro and the fact that Price is continuing to improve to the point where already at this early stage of his pro career he is only a couple fights away from European level. Yeah he may get caught but it is just as likely that his good boxing skills and great power and physical advantages will be too much of a obstacle to overcome for opponents aiming to knock him out. He has a great jab and a monster uppercut, couple that with good body punching, and a decent defence and he to me he is beginning to look like the real deal.
Nobody talks about Lucian Bute having a dodgy chin, and he was put straight on queer street and down on the seat of his pants by Gennady Golovkin(a Middleweight) in an amatuer bout.
This isn't enough proof for me to show Price has a dodgy chin. What it showed more for me, is that Price struggles with the speed, which he certainly won't find in against 95 percent of heavyweights. Price still does get caught easy for my liking, but dodgy chin, i'm not sure. He should be matched competitively but over a decent period of time. He's got a lot to learn and will benefit from Lennox Lewis's advice I read at the weekend. Long road, but he's definitely got the tools to keep sharpening.
One thing is CERTAIN for me. Price SMOKES Fury just as easy as he did Sexton.
I don't think his chin is such a big deal any more. If he gets sparked he gets sparked. The most important thing is - he is showing he is in a totally different class to this level of opponent. Although guys like Sexton/Fat John are not world-beaters, they are not mugs either and he is destroying them.
He's not just a big lump that bangs a bit. He is skillful, fit and has serious one-punch KO power.
I'd back him to iron some "top class" heavies now.

He's alright I guess....puts punches together well, but he gets drawn in a bit doesn't he? Gives up his height pretty quick. Seems like he'll be a solid heavyweight.
I haven't been sucked into the hype until recently. But he is head and shoulders better than the other British heavies at the moment.
The dark horse which is Richard Towers is very similar in my opinion in terms of build and qualities. But he doesn't have years on his side and seems to be progressing very slowly in comparison (even worse considering his age)
I can see Towers beating this guy for the EU title soon and then him and Price go at it.
Price seems up for fighting anyone too which is nice. Fury would have been gone within a few seconds.
Well, there's nobody around with the speed and movement of Cammarelle in the pro ranks. (Which is a shame of course) The guy fought more like a middleweight.
Plus Price has the luxury of being more patient as a pro where as in the amateurs he had to score points so it was all a mad rush and he left himself open. He's better suited to the pro ranks. Would love to see the difference if these two faced off as pro's.
Why didn't Cammarelle not join the pro ranks?
