Agreed. I think they both have something on there side. Fury has a pretty good jaw. We saw that after the Mcdermot fight one. And Price has a better defence. As far as power goes I may put the advantage in prices direction but only slightly but there was the amature fight where he was pulled out to getting wabbled by a shot so he probably has less punch resistance than Fury. I would give the accuracy to price but fury could ware him down with his painful body shots.Quote:

Price is easily the bigger puncher.
Price may be the bigger puncher but they have fought each other in the amateurs and it was Fury who dropped Price.

I always used to say Fury but im having my doubts. Price has looked really good recently and Fury vacating the British title didnt look good. Its a fight that needs to happen and soon.

This whole thread is very interesting in this link. Tyson hadnt even had 20 fights when they fought, to Prices over 60. Tyson had just won a bronze in the world championships. Read the last comment.

Neither can get my vote cos I like price and fury too much haha, both are great fighters who I both want to do amazing on the world scene, it does need happen soon though, who's next for Fury then?Quote:

Price probably, he's got better amateur pedigree and more power, but Fury is younger and has mroe pro experience. I think eventually that will be a huge fight and with the styles of both guys you know they'll mix it up a bit. I don't think either are ready for a title shot though.
Fury dropped price in that amatuer fight he just turned 17 and price was 22

Well in SOME cases it matters in others it doesn't....Mosely vs Forrest comes to mind. Vernon beat Shane in the amateurs and beat him in the pros. Sometimes it's just a style mismatch for one fighter.Quote:

Tommy Hearns was more boxer than puncher in the unpaid ranks , as a pro he was a huge puncher , so again his amateur profile was nothing to do with how he matured into the pro ranks.

Fury in his last fight to me looked terrible, fighting southpaw he looked very crude he won but you
can't say it was perform ans that struck fear into Price can you.
If you look at Fury his defence is pretty poor, and as he move's up in levels it will need to improve a lot
he probably need's a better trainer, some one like M Stewart would fit the bill.
Price on the other hand seem's to look better ever time I see him fight, Price at this stage in his Career
looks the better fighter, is his chin up to it we will have to see.
The only time we will no who is best, when they are facing each other in that ring this is just guess work so that's why I say a 50-50 fight.!:dontknow:
