This gives Bailey a slightly better chance I think, but it also leaves him vulnerable to being KO'd himself.
Nonetheless I have been a fan of Bailey for years and I'm backing him in this one.
One more KO win for the "KO King" and one more world title ! :cool:
Seems like Randall's been around forever. I was able to watch him in person when he fought Diosbelys Hurtado in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the undercard of the Trinidad-Cherifi fight, back in 2002.
Love this fight really. Ultimate crossroads between two that are a lil bit similar. Randall's one punch power remains but unfortunately I think his legs went the new born giraffe route years ago. Jones shows improved discipline but will he jump in if he shakes Bailey and chance running into a brick. Don't blink!
ask for 10 ounce gloves and lessen Bailey's chances. Risky move by Jones.

This could be the fight of the night, want Jones to win but Bailey sounded cool on Box Nation so would not mind him winning either.
I'm rootin for Bailey in this fight. We've had him on the radio show plenty and he's a real humble nice guy. Exchanged a bunch of messages with him and he's a top fella who just wants another shot. If that weird shit hadn't have gone down against Ouali when he practically threw him over the ropes he'd have not had to wait this long for a big fight again. I think Jones will outbox him but I'll have my fingers crossed for one big right hand straight down the pipe just when Jones thinks he got it.

I watched a couple more of Bailey's fights recently and he has a damn good left hook too. He KO'd Gonzalez for his 140 lb WBO title with the hook and he dropped then finished Jackson Bonsai tree with a left hook as well.
I'm most excited for this fight as I've been a fan of Bailey since I saw him against Hurtado a decade ago.
Mike Jones looked damn good in his rematch against Soto Karass but I'm hoping his chin is suspect.
No doubt, Urango went down like someone smacked him with a stretch Limo. Jones really has to mindful not to go crazy like he did in Soto Karass 1 and leave himself in his chest too longQuote:

let's not forget how terrible of a fight this was before the knockout.
Jones was winning it easily before Bailey caught him with that uppercut. So we shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking Bailey is going to hold that title for very long. If anything he'll be the champ everyone goes after.

Bailey is always dangerous, one of the best right hands in the business. Jones got complacent and paid the penalty. He had the fight in the bag, but as the old saying goes...it ain't over till it's over! Well done to Bailey, he has had a great career and fought everybody, i hope he gets a massive pay day in his next fight.
