What the fuck just happened !?
Bob Arum and the mob just robbed Pacquaio after he won every round, but one.
Beyond belief.
Considering the high profile nature of the bout it is the worst decision I have ever witnessed.

Nope, they just forced pac to face floyd because he's lost all bargaining power.
I streamed this fight on my phone at a bar and stopped after six rounds cause pac was so dominatin and then then espn just announced bradley as the winner wtf???
I dont know what i just witnessed. They didnt just kill boxing, they brutally murdered it. those judges should never be able to watch the sport again let alone judge a fight again. awful just awful!!!!
I had i 115-114 Bradley and I dont care if I catch shit for it.
1st round Level
2-6 Pac
7-12 Brad
Fight of 2 halves imo
Pacman's is getting close to retirement, and Bradley is an undefeated young up-and-coming fighter. Top Rank needs a new "champion" to market, so what better way to signal the birth of a new era by taking out the old?
Sadly this is boxing and it's always been this way. Promoters love their fighters until their twilight years of their careers and then they discard them like a used tampon.
Only thing I can figure is that Arum had some inside info that Pacquaio was retiring after this bout so he cashed him out for Bradley OR he wanted a rematch so he could get his hands in the cookie jar from both fighters again.
I was literally shocked when they announced the decision.
Bailey needs to come back into the arena and KO all three of those fucking judges.
This has been a setup from the get go all so there can be a rematch between two bob arum fighters meaning all the money "in house" simple as that.
Pac won minimum 10 rounds
I asked my buddy if we missed something maybe, Bradley kept throwing and never wilted and kept throwing the jab and his balance and footwork was on par too. thats about all I could give him
I was choking when I heard the 1st 2 scores and said the last one will at least be for Pac. When they said AND NEW!! I was no friggin way Bradley won 3, maybe 4 rounds at best
I too thought Manny won but I suggest to everyone to watch the fight once more and on mute. At least once more that is. Then come back tomorrow and rescore the fight.
loving how ESPN is twisting everything trying to make this look like a robbery so they can save face for a Mayweather fight.
In his last two fights Pacquiao has been outboxed by Marquez and had a close fight with Bradley..the only people that want to see him fight Mayweather right now are masochists.
problem with compubox is percisely that, it isn't accurate. Moreoever if pac lands 20 more punches in 1 round and 2 less in another round he's still up by 18 punches but he only won 1 round. Best way to look at compubox is punches per round rather than as a whole.
Again I too believe Manny won but I wont scream robbery until I review this fight while im not under the emotions of a live fight.
Thing is Pacquiao won the 2-6 rounds in such a one sided fashion compubox numbers can be skewed.
IF someone landed 1000 punches in the first round and went on to lose the next 11 rounds not throwing a punch but only getting hit 160 times over the course of it the final punch stat numbers would be 1000 to 160 and if you put that in front of someone without showing them the fight they'd scream robbery.
I thought Bradley did enough to win the fight. A draw would have been fine too, but Bradley ransacked the second half of the fight after taking the first. He stole it by adapting and playing on Manny's weakness. He was stupid in the early rounds, but found his reason and thus sneaked the win.
Bradley can do better in a rematch IMO.
I agree with the assessment about Compubox. You can't use the total punches landed after the fight as a gauge to see who wins or lose. But on a per round scoring, Compubox still had Pac winning most rounds. I need to watch the fight again, but I'm with Compubox scores on a per round basis. WTH just happened...
Oh come off it Hulk Marquez/Pacquiao 3 was worst than this, Bradley won 1st round then won majority of the last 6 rounds. Making it a very close fight, where is everyone getting robbery from ?
Make of it what you will
"Can you believe that? Unbelievable," promoter Bob Arum said. "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said,
"I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy." Said bradley
"I'm going to make a lot of money on the rematch, but this was outrageous," Arum said.
Compubox had ODLH/Trinidad a complete domination for ODLH, but it was a very close fight with Trinidad edging it. Michael Spinks landed more punches than Larry Holmes according to Compubox, yet that is considered an outright robbery. And Pacquiao landed more punches than JMM according to compubox yet a majority had JMM winning you see the pattern here ?
Manny loosing is no where as shocking as how people that think Bradley actually won somehow . I'm not sure why they even have judges
House money is what I took from that. He's actually overjoyed. ESPN is running with the robbery angle which will make the rematch big and when Pacquiao wins it they can act like this loss never happened while getting the money from the fans twice and probably in a larger amount in this rematch to bring more casuals in. Arum isn't mad lol he's just a sales genius.
Fuck punch stats. Fuck the fact that Bradley was punching mannies gloves for most of the fight. I guess being flashy with no power wins fights now?
FORGET FOR A MINUTE THOSE OF YOU WHO DISLIKE PACQUIAO AND TRY TO BE OBJECTIVE.
How many times are the commentators going to be reduced to almost incoherent babbling after a disgraceful robbery of the fight? This is happening much too often. Pacquiao thoroughly outlanded Bradley and there is no fucking way on Earth that Bradley won that fight.
Put aside your feelings for or against Pacquiao and be truly objective. This was a major championship fucking fight, for crying out loud.
Hell....... even BRADLEY HIMSELF knows he lost the fight. I've never heard a fighter say he has to go back and look at the tape to see whether he won or not. Most of the time, even fighters that have been on the verge of a knockout think they have won. Kudos to Bradley for at least admitting the decision may have been wrong.
Hulk beat me to this thread. I was going to say: BOXING IS KILLING ITSELF..... but it's pretty much the same sentiment. How many more times are we going to allow boxing to be ruined by incompetent and/or corrupt judges?!?!?
Hell... I was watching the fight at my brother-in-law's house and no one there was a Pacquiao fan. And even THEY were stunned into silence by the ridiculous decision that came down. And people trying to rationalize it........ BULLSHIT!!!!! What's wrong is wrong.
This is preposterous and it's going to end up killing this great sport that we love so much.

I agree with your assessment on this, I'll still review the fight.
Tim started well but after he got hurt I thought it would follow the same pattern as mst of Pacs fights. Tim seemed to slow down and Manny was in control. It all changed when Tim started trading with Pac up close. Usually guys back off but Tim was able to stay in the trenches and it seemed that Pac didnt have the energy after that in the 2nd half. Tim was fighting at a walking pace but was outboxing him.
I think Pac could win a return but Tim figured him out in the 2nd half and if he fights like that from the start of the next fight it will be the end of Pac.
i was hoping bradley would win.
i wanted to see pac lose
i thought pac won rounds 1-9
i thought bradley won rounds 10-12
i can't fathom how they gave the fight to bradley.
i can see how it could be arum trying to keep things in house and trying to prevent a mayweather/pacquiao fight in the fall...but what i really suspect is...:
dana white is paying the judges to discredit boxing to win fans. makes perfect sense to me.
i saw a new ufc commercial where they say: "this isn't hype."
It serves Pacquiao right, for having made the judges wait while he finished watching the NBA Conference Finals. That'll teach him......
Yeah man, boxing is my favorite sport but the elite boxing scene is embarrassing with all this fixed bs. For that I'll watch wwf. I guess the rematch was already planned since Bradley already had the date and everything.
Im happy For Randall Bailey though. One punch power at its best.
Like i said in my own thread, compubox was out to lunch. Watch the fight again Bradley made Pacquiao miss a lot, there is a reason Manny barely threw punches late in the fight, and for sure lost the last four rounds IMO, tell me there isn't one other round Bradley could have won especially in the first two. I didn't see him winning, but it was damn close.
So MANY rounds Bradley would be winning then Manny would land a few clean hard punches late and the whole rest of hte round would be forgetten like round 1. People don't need to remember just that there are 12 rounds to look at, but also there are 3 minutes of work in each round. Manny worked hard ususally in the last minute, but many times Bradley would win the first two, and I think because of his lack of power people felt PAcquiao was winning exchanges when in terms of punches landed he really wasn't.
"When I came into the ring [after the fight], I said to Tim, 'You did very well,' and he said 'I tried hard and I couldn't beat the guy. You talk about killing boxing. Even [Bradley's] manager [Cameron Dunkin] had it 8-4 for Pacquiao.
that is from Bullshit Bob Arum. I don't believe almost anything out of his mouth. But Bradley will be asked about it and we will find out if it is true.
There were shit ton of close rounds and the second part of the fight Pac was only fighting for 30 secs. I think you guys should rewatch it with out the commentary then come back with a score.
I watched the fight again and here's the best thing I can come up with. The judges do not have our view. if a fighter's back is facing them and another fighter is throwing a flurry, it makes it difficult to see if they landed or not.
The best thing I can do is to figure out at which of the three corners were the judges sitting at, go round by round and see the geography of the fight, i.e, see which judge had a better view of the action. Going by that for 12 rounds if I see a judge who by all accounts should favour one fighter but favours another. then and only then will I cry ROBBERY.
what happend to Marco Huck was a robbery, what happend to Abril was a robbery, Campillo Robbery,..god i know im missing at least 2 more here but this one...this one I need to review to confirm it.
P.S I am biased even though I like Tim I have stated many times on different threads that I believed manny won 8-4/7-5
After Pacs fight with Marquez I have one word to some up this fight for Pac man.
KARMA
This is one of the worst robbery I've seen.
how could people argue it was even close ? stay in boxing and never come to UFC.
Because, on my personal point of view, I'm done. I've been watching boxing for 30 years now. I'm done. I go in the UFC stuff...
Don't even call that I wasn't a boxing lover, I still train in boxing, I love the sport, but they have just killed it tonight. How many people accross the world have a bad image on boxing now ? how many think boxing is corrupted ?
do you think this is enterntainment ? I was disgusted after the fight.
I'm done. I will only read the result on fightnews and save my money for UFC
