Roy Jones Jr V Pawel Glazewski

Well, the old stager is on the European tour and this time is fighting in Poland against a late replacement. Glazewski has an unblemished record of seventeen wins, but with only four KO's this looks to be an opponent that is unlikely to hurt RJJ in the way he has been hurt over recent years. Personally I reckon the RJJ should have too much in the locker for this guy.

There's a couple of American names joining RJJ on the bill, with Krzysztof Szot facing Nate Cambell, which is currently in the ring, and Arthur Szpilka facing Jameel McCline. Barely no other sport on this evening, so this should pass a few hours.

Is Roy's opponent the blonde guy with the buzz cut......looks like he's got good peripheral vision? :cwm3:

Looks like we've got some time yet, McCline and Szpilka still haven't gloved up. I'm watching in Polish though, so it could mean anything!

Does the Polish fella think that having ringwalk girls in Dominatrix gear will strike fear into McCline?

I thought McCline looked like he had a bit of chicken or cabbage stuck in his teeth, and has been really struggling to get it out.

Did Cambell win? I was only watching it in spurts but he looked dominant.

Yup got a points win. He was well in charge.

McCline is clearly the stronger of the two fighters, and I think Szpilka needs to do more to win these rounds, even if he is the home fighter.

Well, my understanding of Polish is definitely on the sketchy side. Szpilka definitely won on points, but the scores are a mystery. I though McCline put up a fairly good fight, and was in charge for the middle rounds.

On another note, the Polish introducing crew are all in black suits like they're going to a funeral. That of RJJ's career? ;)

He's relatively competitive, but I've got him a couple of rounds down against what is effectively a Polish novice.

And you're right, RJJ looks old.

I just tuned in, but this is just sad to watch.

This guy wouln't even of been a sparring parthner for Jones in his prime

RJJ knocked down against this guy? It doesn't look good for him, and although he seems fine, it's safe to say he shouldn't be going down against this type of fighter.

They're bluffing him surely. He's all over RJJ. Frankly, RJJ has looked like Brad Pitt's thinking face for the last six rounds, and I'm glad this guy has no punch power.

Is RJJ still alive?

As CFH said....this is very sad to watch. RJJ is being beaten by a guy who is nowhere near title class. RJJ gets warned for low blows just to try and keep Glazewski off him. Surely a point win, I'd have it fairly wide, to the home fighter.

Ha! Fuck it. Wasn't a total blow out. Looks like Jones name still carries some weight

RJJ got the win there? That is an absolute travesty. He's not even the home fighter and gets a lucky break on a big scale.

Cheers mate....can't believe Glazewski didn't get the nod there. We're always eager to throw the term robbery around, but I think RJJ seemed to get a home decision there.
