Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
I think Haye will get drawn into a streetfight, run out of steam late (Not fought in 11/12 months) and Chisoras gonna stop him.. Cracking Odd's for rounds 9/10/11/12 for a Chisora stoppage too ;-).
I don't see Haye sparking him unless he catches him cold very early on and i also think this could well be Haye's retirement fight. He's rumoured to be getting 3 million Plus for this one ;-)
Haye's gonna have to fight this time and Although early on he'll take Del Boys punches....as the fight drags on Haye will def weaken and lose this late on.. KO or Stoppage
I see a Carl Thompson fight all over again ;-)

If vitali struggled with chisoras pressure then so will haye!!
Chisora isn't john ruiz!!!!
He is durable and can bang and haye has terrible stamina and will be easy pickings late on!! Im that confident that I will put £100 on chisora to win and I will win
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Ah your just coppying what iv been saying;D
Althought he lay off wont help Haye I dont think it will effect him as much asthe slow shitty pace he always fights at or the shitty stamina hes always had. Chisora will just work him over and boss him around until Haye quits.
Haye will have confidence while he believes he could still rip off a right hand but when he starts tiring and has no steam to put in to his punches I think he will quit between rounds with a bullshit excuse.
Cisora will beat Haye and so could Fury and Price. Hes not even the best heavy in England but some would have you believe hes the 3rd best heavy in the world;D

Dunno, if a younger vitali struggled I'd agree... But Vitali was never much a mover and he's shown his age of late. If The Wlad fight taught us anything it's that Haye knows how to pedal a bike.

he's durable yes, he cant punch tho
bet with your head not your heart :)

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Chisora might not be the biggest puncher at heavyweight but Haye was far from the most resiliant fighter at cruiser;)
Also, dont forget the Mock fight.....

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
I'm with you Si, Chisora will win this for me.
-
I've not been on in a long time, and last time I predicted a fight got it way wrong. But think haye will win this inside 5 rounds. 😁
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
I've backed the fight not going the distance (11/10) so far. If Haye can't iron him early I think he'll struggle too.
However, I hope Haye annihilates the cunt just because it will upset most of the forum.

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Haye wins, I think David could stop him but think he will hurt his hand and coast to victory.

A stoppage win for Haye is the least likely outcome IMO. He has no power at HW plus Chisora has a very good chin. Either the OP is right or Haye is on his bike all night, sporadically pot-shotting his way to a boring points win.

I just can't see it going the distance, to be honest.

The Brook/ Carson fight could of been a good indication of how this fight might look. :)

Hard to remember it... He'd had 6 bouts, was younger and lighter so I suspect the importance of it may be low.

i support both fighters, british heavyweights on the world scene, there havent been too many of those
yes they are both cocks but thats how you make your money and there have been plenty of cocks in boxing
chisora isnt in the same league tho if you ask me

As far as talent I completely agree, but Haye doesn't like to work much and I think Chisora should have the output to make this interesting, assuming he can take Haye's punch. Haye has never been in a real fight at Heavyweight, so if Chisora can walk through his shots and get inside this is a tough one to call imo. I'd be impressed if either man could stop the other in truth, Haye will probably hope to pot shot and keep distance if he can. Bad blood rarely outweighs what gives a fighter his best chance to be effective, I wouldn't be surprised if this weren't what it's billed to be. Certainly both men have proven capable of falling well short over 12 rounds, that we know for sure.

pretty daft comment really - wlad has proven capability of falling well short over 12 rounds, so does pac and cotto and hatton, you could probably count on one hand the fighters that havent in the whole of history
your other comment - chisora could make it interesting - i hope so but i think its probably the best we can hope for, theres little chance of him winning

Hopefully Chisora won't be taken in hook line and sinker by the ploy like you've just been, I reckon he's smarter than that. I don't see how getting lulled into thinking Haye isn't going to show up is 'looking very good' at all. Talk about a false sense of security.
Come on, it's kidology 101 level shit, like we should expect from Booth and Haye by now... How can you not see through it? ???

Actually Wlad has never lost a 12 round fight, neither has Hatton on paper. Pacquiao and Cotto have certainly never "fallen short" over 12 rounds, only lost close fights after leaving it all in the ring. I was alluding to the fact that Haye and Chisora have both had real stinkers where they didn't do much more than try to survive over the distance within the last couple of years, so it's very possibly this matchup will dissapoint. But of course you didn't get it:D
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
it is all up to Haye. He can outbox Chisora and win a UD. That is only if he fights smart and makes it a quite boring fight unfortunately . If only Haye had a good jab , i'd be confident with him winning it. Anyways, I think Haye wins a close decision

:vd: My post was in jest and I'm surprised an explanation was needed. Fenster would have got it I'm sure.
Anyways, I'm fairly confident Haye will win this fight but I really do not want him to. Boxing is a "what have you done for me lately" type of thing and chIsora has built up much more goodwill then Haye recently. It's not a fight I'm looking forward to a whole lot but will obviously pay attention because of how much it gets the Brits fired up.

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
This one is a bit of conundrum to me. On one hand Chisora's uttery lack of respect and decency with the K bro's, I dont mind the slap at all I thought it was stupidly brave thing to do but the spitting thing was just..what the fuck?
But Haye's diving like a footballer in the ring was just disgusting. Let's not forget the toe. Hearns fought Hagler for 2 more rounds with a broken right hand and he said the better man won the night, Ali fought all night vs Norton with a broken Jaw and this fuck is bitching about a damn toe?
I secretly hope for a double KO but if I had to pick I'd say I hope Chisora wins this one.

lets not hear about the toe.
Booth spoke the truth when he told Bunce on the radio show that David (Haye) got hit with a good clean right hand in the 5th or 6th round and it deterred him from trying to win. Booth admitted it.
As for haye vs chisora. It depends on alot of things. 1-What kind of shape is Chisora in. If he comes in at the low 240s and is ready to get after it, then I can see a late Chisora stoppage.2- But he better be determined. Haye has fast hands and pretty good power. Chisora will have to be willing to take alot of punches and keep coming. 3-Chisora better have the right strategy- get to the body and look for a left hook to the chin. But until that left hook lands, just get anything you can on Haye's body. Wear him down.

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Boys and girls listen to me. Haye will beat the shit out of Chisora. It won't even be close. Don't believe the hype. You Brits can really sell a fight. you guys fooled me once with the Harrison fight. Not again.

The Harrison fight was always going to be shit. Anybody who knew harrison would have known the outcome of that fight.
Chisora is a different fighter all together. He has a rough awkward fighting style that is up close and has great punches that come from the side. Perfect for Vitali in the last fight he had.
He seems to be fit for this fight and really wants to take out Haye. He also has a good jaw and when he is fit he has reasonable endurance.
Im making two bets. Haye to win by KO round 4 to 6 or Chisora to KO Haye rounds 7 to 9.
Haye even though he looks fit does not have great stamina and not great punch resistance.
If he does not take out Chisora in the first six rounds I see him tiring and getting knocked out.
Neither of there staminas is great but Chisora has more heart.
I think this fight is closer than most people think but will bet that Haye wins. Not counting out either guy though because they have both turned up to a fight before not at the top of there game.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Haye will win this with ease, I'lll pick a shit load of cash then come here and single everyone who was saying this out!!
Chisora is not in the same league. Vitali is old and was injured and still won virtually every round. Haye will stop this bum within 7 tops. As for Ruiz? We'll see if he can take the shit Ruiz could very soon won't we? I can't wait to be prancing round on my high horse come sunday morning.

Oh... 'it was only a joke' I see.
A more cynical person may call it wishful thinking seeing as you really don't want to see Haye win, however now I understand your comedic genius and I feel a fool for not getting the humorous tone of such a well constructed post.

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
OP is ridiculous.
Haye is going to annihilate Chisora, and stop him late ala John Ruiz.
Believe me, Chisora is tailor made for David's style, and Dave is motivated and ready to go for this fight. Chisora on the other hand looks like he has been cutting corners in training, has been having rows/fist fights with his trainer/is over weight etc. I wouldn't be suprised if Chisora weighs more than 255lbs at the weigh in.
David knocks out the obese Chisora in under 9 rounds
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
I wouldn't be surprised if Chisora shows up sharp and in shape.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if he got weighed in wearing a tracksuit with weights in his shoes... Make Haye think he hasn't been training, just like the bogus fight he had with his trainer was meant to.

Sorry to say but this sounds a bit like wishful thinking.
I will come back to this thread after Haye pummels Chisora to observe everyone eating their crow.

 wishful thinking? You do know that I don't expect Chisora to win or care if he does right?... :vd:
I can tell you from personal experience that you can't and should never think your opponent is going to show up on nothing but their best.
Mind games, fights in camp, weighing in heavy, missing phone conferances... Shit, wishful thinking? You've never watched the build up to a fight and read between the lines to see what intent is behind a guy's actions?
If you're getting an impression from a guy, it's usually the one he wants. Haye eon't take the bait.
