Never heard of this guy before ever. Seriously don't know if Froch is going to announce a decent opponent tomoorrow, maybe he's going to take an easier fight for once.

I suppose he does deserve an easier fight, just hope he doesn't see it as an easy fight though and just gets him out of their quickly.
Froch needs to get the guy out quick, it means another win and less wear and tare which means more healing time.
I read this too, he is Pascal's brother, I think this is not true and that the fighter could not make the weight. I know Froch is Pascal's friend but to engineer a fight for his brother who no one has heard of is a bit strange.
I hope Froch fights at least a name we have heard of !
looking at boxrec hes 34 and not done much at all, no way he can be ranked to fight Froch?

If anybody deserves a stay busy fight w/o cynicism its Froch. The guy has fought his ass off for the last two years against the best the world has to offer. And people who nobody has heard of have gotten title shots for over a century. I cant see Poulard making 168 and he's a pretty dam good fighter regardless of what boxrec stats show. I think he's more likely to fight Shumenov then Carl but I guess we will find out soon enough.
I read a tweet saying that they have rearranged the announcement of the opponent because Poulard isnt good enough for Froch.
Froch back in Nottingham on November 17
August 28th we will hear who he is fighting.

He is jean pascals brother, he's 19-3.
Froch is just keeping active. Who knows though, these 'unknowns' who don't have much to lose often suprise us in boxing! Maybe he will aquit himself well, give a spirited performance and make a name for himself.
Looks a solid ticking over fight to me.
I'm not saying anything against Froch, he's one of the best and I enjoy watching him in the ring. My point is that he is among the best and should fight the best. I don't dislike Pascal's brother either, but do you guys want Froch to waste the time he has left in the ring, fighting a lesser opponent!?
