The 2012 London Paralympic Games
Only a few hours until the opening ceremony for the parallel Olympic games. It is great that the games are returning to their place of origin, with the pioneering work of the Stoke Mandeville Hospital and particularly it's spinal unit being recognised and encompassed in this conclusion to this summer of sporting excellence. Started primarily for veteran survivors of the second world war there will again be many disabled ex-sevice men and women joined by many other disabled athletes in a celebration of sport.

Was looking at the betting, disappointed that only wheelchair basketball has been priced up so far. Surely there is a form guide for these events?
On a side note - The Paralympic symbol on Tower Bridge looks pretty shit in daylight.

Ladbrokes are showing odds for men and womens athletics track and field events and a Paralympic special on Oscar Pistorius to win the 100m,200m and 400m treble at 4/1.
Odss checker and a few others are all ready showing prices for Medal betting, total gold medals, total medals. medal table finishing position etc

Yeah the betting is shit. Have you found anymore markets? I can't find anything.

Natalie du Toit on now in swimming. She is a legend.
Re: The 2012 London Paralympic Games
Only ladbrokes seems to be pricing anything (anyway stuff the betting).
Just saw some blind swimmers and some with a muscle wasting problem or something (didn't actually catch the disability). You couldn't tell the difference between them and the able-bodied mob.
Blind Judo? Couldn't tell the difference.

Yeah I meant when the bout was in action. However, at the end of the Brit/Mongolian fight I noticed the Mongolian walked back to the starting line unaided. "Ringer?" (;D)

Cundy:angryxo4:what a bummer. Still he still has a chance of walking away with something tomorrow.
