Mirandas feeling confident, he feels the 6 week camp with Chad Dawson will see him knocking out Bellew. Does anybody give him a chance? I think the fight will be good early, but im fully backing the bomber to end this one in the mid rounds. I think its got war written all over it though, I cant wait !
Miranda is shot. But Bellew pretty much sucks. Who's his best win? Ovill McKenzie? Come on now. 50-50 fight, I guess
Miranda apparently KO'd Dawson so he is feeling confident.

Just searched and looks like the Miranda knocking Dawson out started on sherdog forums. Apparently Miranda knocked Dawson down and he had to stay on his ass for 10 minutes and that was the last of their sparring;D

bellew is better than i thought he was
2 or three fights ago i had him a good british champ but i think he can definately at least be a good world title contender
its a big test
what i like most is i havent had a saturday night boxing night for a few weeks where i really care about the outcome

It's an excellent match-up on paper. Although Miranda is a little past his best he is still leagues above anything Bellew has fought.
Just a couple of fights ago Bellew was getting dumped on his arse by McKenzie and Ajisafe.
I expect Bellew will win but wouldn't be surprised if Miranda done him. (6/1 Miranda by KO might be worth some shrapnel)
One thing ive not given credit to before is Mirandas punch resistance. Hes taken some beatings and lots of big shots. I think he is a bit like Mayorga. He was massively strong at the lower weight but doesnt have the same explosiveness although still a handfull at the hier weight. There is a reason hes been chosen and if Bellew starts gunshy then Miranda may just wade in and land something. If he trys to brawl then Miranda has more chance of landing something. He has had a decent world class training camp for this (Miranda) so you never know.Quote:

Can't see Bellew, having much trouble with Miranda for as long as it lasts.
To my eyes, Bellew hung with Cleverly most of the way, even in loss. Miranda was exposed long ago. I like Bellew big here.

Miranda was never that good TBH so those saying he's shot are off the mark! He's past his pomp yes but...
Ultimately a limited brawler who can be outboxed. He never held a title at MW, he got KO'd by Pavlik, beat Allan Green but got knocked down in the process. I guess he is most noted for breaking Abraham's jaw in a fight he lost (albeit shady).
Pre calzaghe lacy and bika would both have beaten him! He was a stern test for the MW/SMW elite but was always destined to just fall short....
Also he has no right to call froch out, carl would murder him, especially at this stage in his career
Bellow to win. Miranda is a heavy-hitter but Bellow should handle him ok.
Miranda is fast becoming the new Antwun Echols unfortunately.
I hope he wins this fight.

I expected him to blast Miranda out. Miranda was a dangerous middle but not even a champ. Abraham, Bute and Pavlik all knocked him out, all smaller men than Bellew.
Bellew looked scared. Miranda came plodding in and could work as he pleased until he started to get tired, got caught to the body then quit.
Bellew has already been beaten by Cleverly and I cant see him getting any further level wise. You could see hie rates his power too much. It might be good for british level fighters but if an old bloated middleweight with a few KO losses can take his shots to the jaw hes going to have to find some new tricks.
