Has anyone started putting the central heating on yet? I have had to relent and turn it on last week as the kids were crying about the cold. Told my dad to wrap himself up with extra jumper and socks.

sun is OK but its gets abit boring to be honest and the best part is no more mowing the lawn for about 5 months ;D;D;D
About a week ago we got a couple of inches of snow and it was12-14F in the mornings. Next weekend we are expecting several more inches of snow and daytime highs in the upper teens, farenheit. The winters get long but I really really hate mowing the lawn.
Went to a firework display yesterday and toe froze solid, the big fire kept everything else warm. :)
