Re: Hatton vs khan dec.2013
you're really thinking this far ahead
Re: Hatton vs khan dec.2013
It will be April \ May
They both just need to come through their next fights - and Hatton needs to look good (well better than average).
They won't risk them both having another fight - Khan's chin could scupper the £££££££££££ everyone can make
Re: Hatton vs khan dec.2013
Either way they will both avoid Kell Brooks who would beat both and is too dangerous for them. Which is why Kell should have taken the Bradley fight and forced them to fight him.

New rumour is that Kell's people are saying they are negotiating a fight with Khan.

That is correct and if Hatton beats Senchenko they should fight for the right to face Ricky.
If Brook beats Saldivia will he not try and win the IBF belt before fighting Khan ? And with Khan currently trophyless surely they would want to bring a belt to the table? same goes with Hatton.

Hatton and Khan bring the fans, Kell only brings the title. Kell would beat both so both will fight one another as easier options.

technically he is very good, the last fight was hard and taught him what he needs to do to get to the next level which is good diet. He is a proper welterweight unlike Khan and Hatton so yes he is better than them. He also needs to attract them to fight him because he is the least known of them all.
Re: Hatton vs khan dec.2013
I have always rated Brook, Khan and Hatton but for me Hatton is still head and shoulders above. Brook if he can sort his conditioning out can be a joy to watch, he just does not seem to have the knockout power to hold everyone off unless he is totally focused and able to sustain his workrate. That said it should not take too much to KO Amir. Khan though is no slouch when it comes to workrate but has nothing like an Ingle fighters innate knowlege of defending with movement. Hatton on the other hand can Bang and would be all over either of them like a nasty rash and even up at Welter could stop either. Just my opinion obviously.

Can Hatton bang at Welter? based on what, failing to knock out any of his two opponents at that weight?
Hatton was never a banger at 140lbs, he ground down opponents. Pacquiao showed what happens when Hatton goes charging in against a quick hard puncher, and Brook is that.
Brook is an arrogant bastard. He refused to hire a nutritionist for his last few fights as he wants a bigger slice of the pie, and stated "How hard can nutrition be" He answered his own question, and in a big money fight I would guarantee he would get one on board and perform much better than he has done previously.

Go easy on the Hatton hopes because we really don't know where he is at. I worry about him with his talk of Pac and Mayweather rematches. We should all hold our horses a little bit and hope he wins this one first.
I'm a massive Hatton fan too, but those two losses burnt a lot and should really have burnt Hatton a lot too. Easy steps first.
