There has been nothing from my knowledge of any possible fights coming up soon, when he does come back who is he going to fight? I really want to see him back in the ring but it is going to be a long time I think.

He will get stripped as he has carved his nice little niche where belts mean nothing and he can just have a fight every now and then ago maintain his number 1 spot!

This thread should read, "Who can Floyd fight that will guarantee him getting the most money, and keeping that zero?"
Those are the two things that Floyd is concerned with, period.
I'll be honest and with respect, with the number of quality guys fighting this weekend who cares.

It has come to the point for me that I no longer care who Floyd or Manny fight. I could care less about who these guys fight. Hell, I don't even care anymore if they fight each other. They ruined what could have been the biggest fight of this generation.
There are so many other fights to see, if only the casual fan knew what they are missing. Ok rant over, carry on.

Martinez is fighting an opponent-type fighter, supposedly an English guy called Murray, in Argentina in April. I don't think Golden Boy will let Canelo fight him next, if they do move Canelo up in class it'll probably be Cotto. I think Floyd might fight the Berto-Guerrero winner next.

I do not like Floyd at all but you do him a great disservice when you say it was a close fight against Cotto. It was for the very reason it was at 154lb, no catchweight. Floyd has just acclimatised at welterweight and he takes on the light middle champion. Floyd also fought more aggressively than usual and that certainly made it more entertaining.
