I think it's a real honest look at what happened after the Pacquiao fight from Ricky. Iit's good to see his trainer Bob Shannon has Rickys best interests and isn't in it for the money or fame.
I hope Ricky gets his redemption and leaves the sport on a high.
Thanks for the link dude - I'll watch that later
Apparently I cannot view this from the north end of the planet. I'll try to find it on youtube.
good programme, his girlfriend seems to be intelligent and have a real level head on her which will be important whatever the outcome of saturday. Shame ray and carol seem still to not be involved or on talking terms at all
ps bob shannon the painter! amazing!

Youtube link but still not sure if its international because its on the channel 5 youtube channel.
I just watched the documentary and I'm kind of torn on this comeback. I want the best for him, but he is looking old and sounds so down on himself. Hatton never had a style to get old in boxing.
I'm very excited about the fight and just hope he gets the win and that is enough for me.
Look Hatton should have never canned Graham and hired Predator. That was not a training camp for Manny that was a circus. Anyone who believed that Ricky was going to ride off into the sunset feeling complete after that fight is an idiot.
I expect Hatton to struggle early (who wouldn't after this long) before coming back to stop Senchenko late while behind on the cards. I don't think he'll fare well against anyone in the upper levels though.
If he can control himself and still take a good shot he could do well he looked really fit, moved well, and has respect for Bob Shannon who is no mug in the corner, Ricky needs to deal with his demons and I wish him luck and will be watching saturday night hoping for the best but being prepared for the worst.
I'd say that if you have a ticket and are in the MEN on fight night, when Hatton comes out, the hairs on the back of your neck with the atmosphere will stand up like never before. That is a cert and the place will be alive like not many other boxing nights in history......
On the other hand, the smokiest thing for me will be Hattons punch resistance. If it ain't there, Senchenko, regardless of how powder puff, will stop Hatton I say.
On another note, I think that this return for Hatton all leads towards a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. In his head, I think thats what the goal will be. Whether I'm right, or whether he can stay upright before then I don't know.
I am very curious about how he'll do but I gotta admit that I think that he should have stayed in retirement. If he's only doing one fight or two to end his career on a winning streak (so not going against the top of the division), that can perhaps be alright but if he has more "splendid" plans, then I deeply worry for him.
im going you bunch of nobs
If he can't get past Senchenko's jab it's going to be a long night for him. Hopefully he's not fooling himself. Also interested to see what happens when he gets hit on the chin.
He could have came back and fought some tomato can or stump with arms and made a few million quid but instead he chose a top ten guy to measure himself.
WAR RICKY HATTON!
I'd give my left nut to see him fight live and have a taste of that atmosphere.
Got my ticket for the fight i'm starting to get excited now am like a little kid lol.
I hope ricky gets the win but its not going to be easy, i think Hattons punches look slow aswell.
Senchenko looked big at the weighin, was surprissed how much taller he was aswell. If Hatton can slip the left jab and avoid the right cross he can get on the inside and work. But if not i see hatton getting stopped in 10.
I wish Hatton the best.
Hope hatton wins. Hopefully it will stop him mentioning pound for pound fighters all the time. Get over it and be the best you can be.
I'm so buzzed for this and think Hatton actually looked very good at the weigh in. Just maybe he is for real. Hatton brings excitement like nobody else in boxing today and we have ourselves an event. I can't wait.
So they are showing this on Showtime stateside? That is a good thing!
I guess if there's one thing in Hatton's favor, it's that Senchenko ain't no spring chicken, and he was stopped by the feather fisted Pauli Malignaggi in his last fight in April of this year. Plus this fight is in Hatton's backyard at the Manchester Arena. Still though, unlike Hatton, at least Senchenko has been active the last 3 1/2 years (5 fights), while Hatton has been in 1 fight, a devastating 2nd round KO to Pacquiao.
I think we are getting it live as it appears to air at 2 pm my time (California). I see that California flag in your avatar so I assume you are also a resident of this fine state.
I haven't watched any tape of Senchenko either, just read bout Paulie schoolin, cuttin and stoppin him.
I see Ricky winning a sloppy decision where he gets hurt in the later ro9unds but still pulls it off. I also see Paulie stopping him in 8 just from activity and movement alone. Hatton wont have the legs like he did last time to keep up but well just have to wait and see
Heading up to Manchester via Leeds for this now.
Hatton via KO @ Evens.
Also a sneaky bet on Senchenko Rd2 at 66/1.
Enjoy mate, should be cracking.
Im just hoping he comes through it with a W.
I homestly hope Hatton does well but see him getting stopped before tha half way mark.
An awkward fit and active Paulie could fiddle around and the ref gave him a stoppage but this is a big man aginst Hatton and I see it going the same way as Tysons last 2 fights. Just going to look small and tired.
I was shocked at how bad he looked, he looked like an old man who had been drinking for years (you know, that haggard washed out look that people get)
Even if he had not been destroying his body for two years, Ricky never had the style best suited to ring longevity. He has been in a lot of wars and that takes its toll on the body.
I think he gave the game away when he said that wanted to win another title and fight 'top people' like mayweather or Khan....... KHAN?
I think that the peak of his aspiration should be to finish Khans career, his style would be suited to Hatton as Khan is chinny and can be caught at any time.
Good luck to Ricky, and I hope he gets some closure.
