Why does everyone say Price has a weak chin? I've seen no evidence of this at all.

A better fight would be Butterbean v Haye.

Are you for real here? Fury hasn't actually been in with a live body other than Chisora. McDermott had him in all sorts of trouble twice, and Price destroyed him in 1. I'm not saying Price is decapitating world beaters, but he hasn't had as many fights as Fury and Fury fights some shockers. How can anyone justify fighting Martin Rogan? Rogan had been inactive for some time and yet Hennessy tells us it's a fight the fans had been begging for. Kevin Johnson is not a world class fighter. To be one, he'd have to throw punches. There is a reason Fury is carefully matched. Fury-Price is a 50-50 fight. I can't see either beating a Klitschko at this stage but I think Price would take Fury's head off.Quote:

Only time Butterbean and Prime have been in the same conversation was when he was ordering off the menu at some greasy spoon back in Alabama and asking for extra 'Taters on the side.
Rich Power, Marcelo Nascimento, Derek Chisora and Nevan Pajkic were all unbeaten when Fury fought them. Then you have a world rated opperator like Johnson. Those are all live bodys, unlike the dead ones that Price is unearthing.Quote:

Justify fighting Martin Rogan?..... He beat Prices last 2 opponents years ago;D
Also, before you mention that Sexton beat Rogan, this is what im on about by Price fighting progressively worse opponents.

Price wants the Lonsdale belt, which he (and I) hold in high regard. Agreed the competition he has faced are dross, but who else can he fight? Fury ducked him and vacated, so that leaves very few options.
If Price is still fighting dross after that, I'll wade in and criticise. Until then, don't hate the player, hate the game.
Sexton, Harrison or Skelton are all capable even now of beating Fury. Not so sure Rogan or Maddalone were ever going to test Price and it would not take 12 rounds or a points decision for Price to take care of Johnson.Quote:

C'mon dude who had Rich Power, Nascimento and Pajkic fought? And saying Price's opposition getting worse, Fury went from Rich Power to a fighter with a negative record. I give him plenty of credit for Chisora because I din't think he'd win it but the others had padded, unproven records. At this stage, you can't say Fury is fighting world class opposition. Kevin Johnson has proved absolutely nothing at world level other than he can go 12 rounds as a punching bag that moves. I agree Price's last 2 opponents aren't great, but like you said, Fury fought Rogan after Price fought Sexton, and he fought Rogan after running from Price.Quote:

Fury hasn't beaten anyone of note to get excited about, so you're saying people are overrating Price but you're overrating Fury in exactly the same way. Exactly. Neither of them has done squat and I don't think anyone is saying that really. Price simply looks to have much better form imo. One should be able to go by more than who has been in with slightly less mediocre guys when speculating here.
